If he only colored the buttons as well.
Nintendo should hire this guy right now and get these into to production as Special Editions ASAP.

i remember the NES(rev) mockup but not the SNES, do you have pics?

If they sell the NES Rev at any point in time I shall own two Rev's
one black & one NES

This is kind of a pathetic mod if you ask me. Its a printed sticker stuck to the top of a ds. If he would have painted the detail and changed the shape of his cassing to be like the snes. Also changed the buttons to snes color and shapped buttons. I dont know this mod just doesnt impress me seems rather simple.

The skin says "Super Nintendo Entertainment System", but it looks like a Super Famicom.

I don't mind the button colours, though.  I always used the ASCiiPad for the Super NES, which I believe had Super Famicom button colours instead of the Super NES's purple.  I don't remember for sure if the ASCiiPad was a first-party controller, but it probably was, since the box made it look like so and it was of decent construction.  I may be wrong about third-party controllers but I generally don't like them.

It looks like my Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

The ASCII Pad is made by ASCIIWARE, at least that's the manufacturer named on the box of mine. It's a bit thinner than the normal SNES pad and has an annoyingly short cord.

Actually, if you look closely it seems he repainted the entire system, including the buttons, then clear-coated it to preserve the paint. In which case that makes it an extremely impressive mod.

But yeah, I want the colored buttons as well!
