This was on IGN. Just some fan fic type stuff but I personally wouldn't be disappointed by that sort of interface. It is acceptable. Unlike that survey one.

I kinda liekd theone formt hat survey a while back, but everyone else said it was bad for some reason. that blue one on IGn looks cool I think.

What'd be kinda neat would be if that kind of interface let you pick the style of system being shown - like the Toaster NES and the Top Loader or the Regular N64, one of the many colored N64s or the Pikachu 64...

Methinks that would be a great unlockable by beating x amount of games a certian games or series.
I found the survey one unpolished and thrown together. Nothing like how the Cubes was. I expect on par with the Cubes menu or better thats all.

I'd always liked the DefectDS mock-ups. (The original page doesn't seem to work, so I linked to my own forums with those images posted - I hope no one minds.) I'm glad to see IGN encouraging people to make new mock-ups. If anything, it's getting me excited - even if it IS just a menu. Hopefully Nintendo's already planning to make something sleeker than the survey mock-up and closer to these fan-made ones so that this excitement doesn't turn to disappointment. High expectations = easier to get let down, but I'd like to see what people can come up with anyway.
