People have done a good job of pasting URLs to pics, and that method keeps our eyes from being assaulted.

Many boards give individual users the option to turn images off and have them replaced with a clickable "open in new window" URL - it helps save load times when on crappy dial-up...

I wanted to show the output of a program I just finished most of the core functionality for. This particular picture started life at 2009x3000 and 2.48 MB. Now it is 639x955 and 58.8 KB. Thats what the program does. It takes a picture and outputs a version that meets either the Forums size limits or the Avatar size limits. It outputs both PNG and JPEG but PNG are better quality the JPEGs are generally bigger (physical size). This is jpeg.
Also what are these other features that were suppose to be coming?
