Thos sites do have a purpose, just so you all know.
They are ususally used in conjuction with a load balancer on a multi node server. The load balancer has to have some way of seeing that a node is active and working... Granted they didn't have to type A-Ok.

A-OK contains 3 letters but 4 characters, this HAS to mean something! 3 + 4 = 7, that's the obvious hint here, but where does 7 leave us? 7 months til E3! Nintendo to show stuff at E3! Hint deciphered!
