That's all i wanted to say/show. Anyone else have any funny pics about rev or something remotely about rev plz post here.
Heh, the entire ps1/2 controller stolen. The milkbone shape, the start, select, abxy configuration, shoulder buttons, even the 'ergonomic' handgrip extenstion (Virtual Boy controller was first, I think), were all hoisted. Not just the Analoge thumb stick and rumble. It's not like noone else has done it, ever compair the Turbo Grafix controller or TurboExpress to NES controller and Gameboy, respectivly?

When Sony steals the Rev's controller, they're going to double it, giving you two remotes, one for each hand, and everyone will gush about how that's so much better.
They'll say "Sure, Nintendo may have invented the remote (at which point someone else will pop in and say that Nintendo didn't even invent it, they just popularized it), but Sony is the one who perfected it."

Two remotes would be genious. Have one of the two remotes have an analog stick instead of a D-pad, sprinkle a couple more buttons on the D-pad remote and you have a very perfect controller.
Anyway...I WOULD LOVE the PS2 type of D-pad on the REV. They are perfect.

Not me...I absolutely despise the Sony D-pad...

Same here, Bill, the SNES really hit the nail on the head with its D-pad.

YEAH I LOVE THE SONY DPAD because it gives me blisters BLOL. But in all honesty any Nintendo Dpad is vastly superior to sega's,sony's,microsoft's and nokia's(ngage) dpads.

And so are their analogue sticks.

Original GBA's D-pad > all other D-pads in existance.

There isn't one first-party controller with a decent D-pad. I don't know why people aruge about it. They're all useless. And for the recond, everything else about the PS2 pad sucks: inaccurate sticks, inaccurate 'analog' buttons, terrible ergonomics, buzzy rumble, and craptacular D-pad. Big, fugly connector. Poor build quality (how about a brand new controller that activates the Select button when it rumbles?). OK, I'm done. ...For now.

If the Gamecube D-pad was bigger I wouldn't have a problem with it.
Isn't that the only problem with it?

I thought you could use dual remotes for the rev, just get two controllers, wasnt there some guy in the TGS video playing the drums?

Thw Windows button crashed the game in progress and brings up the Start menu, because that feature was so loved on the PC.

That X360 symbol has to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
P.S. Will the black NRC be as glossy as the one in the pic on post 1?

Glossy is good! It looks glossy from all the pictures.

I think so. I remember IGN saying it really retained fingerprints.
edit: sorry, they said the console retained fingerprints. Not sure about the controller.

Wasn't the 360 supposed to have TiVO like qualities? I remember thet being a rumor but if it's not true then I don't know.

It sure looks like it. I noticed that there is also a "Live TV" button, just like with a DVR service. It's no secret that Microsoft has been trying to introduce a Multimedia Home Computer/DVR to the market - perhaps the $399 X-Box 360 is that machine?

I like the dreamcast d-pad & stick the best because you could hit both very easly without dislocating your thumb.

If the $400 360 does have a DVR in it then MS should be telling people...I know that would make me slightly more interested.
MS and Sony are in a multimedia fight, they need to show as many bells and whistles as possible...although I have a fairly vast collection of both bells and whistles...

I don't think it will do that. DVD writers cost more than plain DVD drives and recording to harddisk is pretty much impossible with a 20GB HD.
