Title: Donkey Konga 3 Review
Post by: WuTangTurtle on September 08, 2005, 12:39:19 PM
I did not see a mention about this in PGC's Donkey Konga 3 Review so i decided to make this here.

For anyone that doesn't already know Donkey Konga series is one of the only japanese games that CANNOT save using a freeloader disc.  So unless you have your GCN modded you can't access the Famicom songs easily.

However I'd like to mention that it is still a great game without the famicom songs.  There are so many more songs, and a lot of which are pretty good.  For example you get 2 Naruto songs and i believe 2 Full Metal Alchamist songs.

Anywho thought someone could use the info.....

I was stupid and didn't  get just a Freeloader.  I went the other route and used the soldering method, which is actually pretty painless once you know what you're doing.  So, I never had a problem saving and didn't even think there would be problems.  Thanks for the heads up.

how much or how bad is it to mod it instead of using freeloader.  If it isn't much i might wanna do it, if not oh well.  Thats only one import game i won't be able to save for....

If you've never soldered anything before, and you have nothing else to work on besides your GC, it would be much safer to just get a Freeloader.
