I think I heard (Christopher) Walken voicing one of the characters in the trailer. You can't go wrong with Walken.

did anybody watch the VMA's this year? there was this part where P Diddily Daddy Puff played a Biggie song* to an orchestra and one of the lines in the song was "about to blow up like the World Trade" and they cut out the words "World Trade" does that mean its still too sensitive of a subject to even metaphorically mention too?
* the song was written back in the early to mid 90's

I never played the first one...but this looks promising.
Alas...I've gotten so used to swinging around New York with Spiderman, that being stuck on the ground isn't going to be very much fun at all!

As for this, games are more expensive. The first True Crime (played some on Xbox) was alright, the best part was car chases. But I don't think I'd buy it.
And 9/11? Call me a bastard, but my friends and I were joking about it the day we heard it, and have continued to since. Does it mean we don't care? No. But I don't see why we should impose limits on laughter.

This is much better than the original. It is more straightforward and I'm actually finding myself not feeling like I'm in a collect-a-thon because you can use the Subways and Cabs to get around. I'll post a review soon.

EDIT: Sorry, I said that after seeing only the Gamespot review (4.6 out of 10). I guess it seems all right. I know this is off topic but I"m having a blast with GUN if anyone's interested in another sandbox game.

While enjoyable, for some reason I liked True Crime: Streets of LA a lot more. New York City isn't as memorable. A good game that takes place New York is Def Jam: Fight For New York, and I don't even listen to rap, or much music, really...
