Title: Nintendogs Demo Version out at kiosks

The Nintendogs Demo Version is available at some demo kiosks to try out. You can't name the dogs just play with them...it was pretty cute. Nintendogs is basically the most perfected virtual pet game out there. Its amazing what you can do, and the virtual intelligence in these dogs.
Also out in stores is a demo version of Mario Baseball and Geist. Mario Baseball was pretty cool, and I thought had huge promise for some wacky Baseball...which I never thought would be playable.

Nintendogs too? Awesome. I am a bit disappointed that you didn't try Geist though >=o

Not to get Nintendogs? You're crazy! I'll cry if it doesn't get in stores right on the 23rd so I can have it before my plane trip on the 24th.

They are all tiny chihuahuas...and we used to have more...At one point in time we had 9 chihuahuas running around!

which stores has anyone seen them in? The only places with a demo koisk for the DS is Circuit City and GameStop.

I saw it in Gamestop, Circut city, and best buy today. It is rediculously cute and I can't wait to have my own pup!

Most of the DS stations around here are beat to death thanks to littles snots stabbing the screen. (yes, stabbing)

As cute as the game may be, the promotional displays are extremely annoying. The large stand-up ones that bark when you walk by. Darn those things are awful. A local store put their's on a shelf so no one under 9 feet tall would set it off.

I saw a demo at a EB Games in my area. I never play DS demos because little kids screw them up so much that playing games are nearly impossible due to how inaccurate the touch screen is.

If anyone still envies Europe for getting more DS love (except for Kirby! We want Kirby!): Those kiosks here still run the Mario 64 and Wario Ware demos. Granted, nothing of interest has come out here since launch (well, maybe the proper version of Mr Driller DS we got! Dhristone is the way it should be played!) but it's still a shame these abused DSes don't get any new games.

I've never seen a DS demo station here in PR. Well, maybe when it first came out, with Metroid Hunters, but thats it.

I just saw a demo station running Yoshi... Out of the six main menu icons only one is selectable...
Interestingly they've removed the styli from the kiosks now... Try playing yoshi with your finger!

I got to play the demo at EB Games this afternoon. I felt like a little kid because I kept going back to it to play with the puppies. For those that haven't had a chance to experience it yet, let me just say that no matter how great the videos of the game look, they don't do it justice. You have to see it in person!
