Batman Begins has shipped to retailers.

BATMAN BEGINS VIDEOGAME SOARS ONTO SHELVES    


   Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Co-Publish Game Based on Highly Anticipated Film
   


  Chertsey, UK. – June 15, 2005 – Co-publishers Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced that the Batman BeginsTM videogame hits retail shelves nationwide today for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Xbox® video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCubeTM and Game Boy® Advance. The game, based on the Warner Bros. Pictures film Batman Begins and DC Comics' legendary character, is rated "T for Teen."    


The game features an all-star cast, including the voices and likenesses of Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Michael Caine (Alfred Pennyworth), Liam Neeson (Henri Ducard), Katie Holmes (Rachel Dawes), Cillian Murphy (Dr. Jonathan Crane), Tom Wilkinson (Carmine Falcone) and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), all reprising their roles from the film directed by Christopher Nolan.    


The Batman Begins videogame challenges gamers to step into the shadows of Gotham's perilous criminal underworld as DC Comics' legendary Dark Knight, and use fear as their ultimate weapon. Gamers will play as both Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego, Batman, hunting evil-doers from the shadows, using strength, intellect and an array of high tech gadgets to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city, including classic villains Scarecrow, Ra's al Ghul and Carmine Falcone.    


Batman Begins was developed by EA and Eurocom and carries a RRP of £39.99 for consoles and £29.99 for Game Boy Advance.

Well, I like the game so far, reminds me of Max Payne and Splinter Cell

Gamerankings says it's 10% better than Catwoman.

It's...eh.  The fear mechanic is pretty cool, but they don't let you use it as often as one would like.  

Its worth a rental if you're a fan.
