Post by: rambo on April 24, 2005, 03:54:59 PM
Hey all i got my ds a week or so ago with mario 64ds warioware and metroid demo im loving it i think its a great little handheld. Although weve just got too wait for some games. I dont like warioware not my cup of tea im gonna trade that in any suggestions.
Also whats your top 5 games out at the moment.
Plus final question ive heard about mario kart (most favourite game) going online from the ds. Can someone exlain this and how that would actually work if ive been told the correct info. If its true wow that will be great but i dont know how its possible cheers.

1.) Warioware Touched (but that's not your cup o tea...) 2.) Yoshi Touch-and-Go (i might like this more than wario) 3.) Polarium (puzzler.. its kinda bland but i love a good mental exercise) 4.) Super Mario 64 DS
Those are all the games i own. If you're dying for portable gaming, I'd recommend any GBA game. The DS offers a perfect screen for GBA gaming.
Mario Kart might not be online (i imagine it will be, though). Basically, you'd have to be in range of a wireless router (starbucks offer hotspots, i believe) and i think Nintendo will take care of the rest.
basically: wait till E3. Nintendo will show us the DS' online setup there, along with the rest of the DS titles we should be anticipating, such as Kirby: Canvas Curse, Meteos, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, etc.

I don't doubt Mario Kart will be online, so you're in luck there.
Yoshi's Touch and Go is without a doubt the most addictive game on the system. Super Mario 64 DS is a great game as well. But Wario is also an excellent game...give it a chance, it grows on you. Though a gamer with even half-decent motor skills could beat it withing 6 hours.

Import Band Bros. Then get Kirby when it comes out.

You won't get too much depth with any of the games that are out right now (sans Mario), but some of them are still great. I'm enjoying polarium and Yoshi T&G. If you're not really interested in anything that's out right now for it then I would go with what that other guy said and use it for some high quality GBA gaming. Zelda: minish cap is delightful.

that's what I have.

If you're craving a GBA game I highly recommend Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. It's awesome, although you don't need my opinion to figure that out.
