Title: Replacement AC Adapter for GameCube
Post by: Nj on April 04, 2005, 07:05:55 AM
Any recommendations on picking up a spare AC power cable.  Stores like EB games get genuine (used) cables in but not very often.  I tried a 3rd party Intec one for $20 from Toys R Us.  We plugged it in and turned on the cube and the light started going off an one as though power was not flowing thru normally---needles to say it was not working.  Maybe I just got a dud?  Anyway,  I unplugged it immediately and am returning it to Toys R Us.  Should I be hesitant to try another Intec?  Is there a good 3rd party replacement brand?  I want the extra cable for a second TV so I need not pull the wires every time the gamecube gets moved from room to room.  The AV cord was easy to find.

THANKS!
