Title: Nintendogs Commercial and Diaries Online
Post by: Bloodworth on March 25, 2005, 06:42:50 AM
Watch Japanese women play with their very own Nintendogs.

Nintendo has recently updated their Touch DS site with the official Japanese commercial and diaries of two girls and their new puppies.

The commercial shows a woman coming home to a firelit living room and greeting her puppy - on Nintendo DS.  A quick burst of gameplay footage and the release date are shown, and the new DS colors are displayed as well.

The diary has videos and journal entries by the girls as they adapt to their new puppies, teach them their names, and show them to friends and relatives.  It's rather interesting watching their reactions, so take a look.

Bark Bark? Are these pics of pups stills, or is it streaming throughout the game, because it is good looking! I wonder I f you can make them mate and make more pups. Thats what my dog did. Impregnated to make seeing eye dog pupies. Hmm.

umm... neither.  The puppies are real time 3D.  They don't grow up though, so no mating.  You can get other puppies as you progress though.

Is that Utada Hikaru singing in the background?  As usual this game looks kickass.

Bloodworth, do you know how you get new puppies as you progress?  I read somewhere that you need to run into another person's DS with another particular breed to get that breed on yours.  (I know you can buy new dogs, but can you buy all the different breeds?)

I know they're unlockable, but I'm not clear on the details.
