well if you ask me it is very very ugly, its looks like an oversized digital camera with the lens cap on.
and I don't see any controller ports..... going wireless as standard??
It only plays UMD's?  thats kinda odd, wouldn't that make it more of a home UMD player so that you don't have to use your PSP all the time?

I doubt it... it looks uggly, no controler ports, if it did play UMDS it might be just Movie UMDS and not games..

At first glance I thought it was a pair of binoculars.  I'll just say FAKE until proven otherwise.

Bogus.  The specs for the PS3/PSP UMD "MediaMove" clearly suggest that you can put PS3 data on a UMD disc for use in the PSP, and I can guarantee you that it'll NEVER happen.  Sony will never put writable UMD in the marketplace.

"awful pretty"? More like "pretty awful".

The controller ports are on the back. They did that with the PSX and a similar move for the PS3 wouldn't surprise me.

It looks better than the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube.  I like the shiny black, but are they really only going to put one memory card slot on it?

Someone should think a bit about the interior of their mockups. That memcard slot would clip into the drive mechanics and usually you would rather place the drive towards the top or bottom so you have better airflow inside. Also, the PS logo should be colored. No matter how ugly it looks, Sony won't make that one colored. Also, it cannot be rotated since it's painted on. I'm not sure about the old PS2 but my 70k has it rotateable so it can be turned properly when you put it into the vertical stand.
