Update: An official announcement today from EA confirms this news, but also confirms that the game is not planned for any Nintendo platforms.
The Hollywood Reporter is, well reporting, that both Robert Duvall and James Caan have signed on to provide voice acting for EA's forthcoming game based on The Godfather. The two will reprise their roles as Tom Hagen (Duvall) and Sonny Corleone (Caan). In addition to these two famous actors, EA also secured rights to previous recordings from Marlon Brando for the game. The rights were secured prior to Brando's passing in July of 2004.
In addition to securing the rights to these renowned actors, EA has also gained rights to use the Grammy-award winning music comprised by Nino Rota for the film.

QuoteWhat do you mean they can't throw the Mario Bros into this one? Mario's Italian, for goodness sakes. It would work perfectly. I'd love to blast my way up the crime syndicate as a fat, Italian plumber.
It's not like they can throw Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Little Mac in this one.
