Title: the "right" way to hold the DS
Post by: thepoga on January 17, 2005, 08:42:56 PM
I think that the best way to hold the DS (for stylus games) is byholding it regularly with your left hand, and with your right palm, u hold up the bottom right part of your DS. I never get cramps or anything in my hands, even after long hours of play. I wish i could post pictures, but yeah. I don't really find the 'hold part of the DS on the edge of a table' thing to work very well. Because then u have to hold your arm up. So anyways, the point of this thread is to find better ways to hold the DS or something.

I don't even pay attention to how I hold it. It varies depending on what I need to do. I'll do what you described sometimes or lean the right side against my leg if I need to, but it's not something I see as a huge deal.

I'm the same as Bloodworth. The position varies, but I've never been uncomfortable playing it.

I lie on my belly on my bed when I play. That way I don't have to hold the DS but I do with my left hand and use my right for the stylus.

The "right" way to hold DS is with your hands.
