Title: Kmart Zelda Bundle Deal -- FYI
Post by: blkdog7 on February 13, 2003, 04:00:06 PM
I stopped in Kmart tonight to see if I could grab one of the Ocarina Games early with pre-order. Anyway, they wouldn't give me one but I did find out that they are offering a Zelda Bundle for $55.00 that includes the official Nintendo strategy guide. So, for $55.00 you get the free pre-order games upon making your $15.00 deposit and at pick up time you get a strategy guide and the new game! Sweet!

At our K-Mart, they laugh at you and kick you in the junk.  You DO get 20 percent off all the older games though (it's closing).

Gamestop gives you a Prima Strat Guide.

Strategy guides are worthless for the most part.  You either figure it out yourself or look on GameFAQs.  It's only handy if you don't have the manual or if it is a game that has a lot of strategies and tactics instead of puzzles.

I dunno 'bout you guys, but if I get a guide,it's for the collection value. They usually have gobes of official artwork not found in the official instruction manual or anywhere else like 'dat.
