Title: GameCube region protection?

Hi, sorry if this is an obvious one, I searched various sites but couldn't find a straight answer. I know that US NTSC games cannot be played on a JAP NTSC console and vice versa without the freeloader (and no NTSC on PAL consoles without the freeloader), but can any PAL game be played on any PAL console? So, I have an Australian PAL console, could I play UK/EU PAL games on it without anything extra? Thankyou

Yeah, they'll work. I got the UK's 1080 because Nintendo Australia were determined to delay it for six months. It works just fine.
