Title: WHEN WILL THEY ANNOUNCE SSB3!!

i havent heard any rumors of the sequel to SSBM!!!IM GOONa murder soon if i DONT!, iTHAT GAME BEAT ANY GAME IN MUILTPLAYER! i think THAT theyr are  most definetly   working OR are goona start to work on one, anyone heard anything about it? and what NEW features/characters wil you like to see? heres my ideas il love to se on the next one. characters-(that i could think of)

-SONIC

-TAILS

-diddy kong

-wario

-waluigi(lol lame but he would fit in there)

-toad(possibly0

-WOLF(foz bro)

-mega man(possibly?)

new features-

-DEFINETLY online play

-costume edit(kool to se mario in FOX clothes EHEHE)

-arena EDITER(MAKE YOUR OWN battle RENA ehehe)

-CHARACTER creation-(kool make your own character)

-PUT COMBOS(killer instinct combos) IN THERE!!!(at least in a 1 on 1 since on more it would work very well..)

what would ya like to see on the next SSB?

SSB3 will be announced when SSBM fails to sell.  Still, I'd love a Nintendo vs. Capcom version...

SSBM3 probably won't be released until the next generation of consoles comes out.  I agree with all of your suggestions except for the combos. Ugh...

now wait, i think some kind of combo thing would be cool.  I don't mean make it and important factor, just link something together beyond the kick and punch.  They could put it in very Subtely.  Imagine link doing 2 sword swipes normal then finishing off with his spin attack.  That would be cool.  Or samus doing some attack then going to screw ball.  I'm not sayiong they should add it and advertise it, i just think they could let us link a speacial at the end of a line of attacks.  One more, do kirby's little fist of fury and end it with the rising sword move.  You see what i mean.  Just make it smoother to perform.

The only thing I would want in the next SSB is online mode. Hell, I'll pay another 50 just for it. Super Smash Bros: Online Fury! And the create-a-character, thats stupid, that defeats the purpose of "Nintendo Only". Also, maybe more F-zero levels...ok, just the songs.

they had combos, I must have played that game over 300 hours.... wait i checked, only 233.  I knew there were ways of kind of hitting them hard enough you have a chance for a second hit, which could be a speacial, but it never seemed to flow right.  I guess i mean adding a little timing to it like in PSO, where the next hit must be made at a certain time, not just button mashing, allthough button mashing is very fun.  
As i believe someone said in another post in the gamecube area, they did purchase a large MMORPG server.  We all thought it was for pokemon, but nintendo just loves to break our hearts, only to have them rebuilt stronger and better (refering to the new Zelda look, though i lover it because it is animeish, and that alone is all i need).  It seems very possible they might be working on an online SSBM, since it is so perfectly obvious that it is not something that will enhance the game, but truly complete it.  However i suppose the same thing could be said with pokemon.  The only gripe i have with this pokemon game if it is online, is that i have a large and sickening feeling it will be just another Pokemon Stadium.  If they let us get experience points, it will take away alot of the empty feeling.  However I know you NEED Ruby?Sapphire to play so it is gonna be a big maybe.  But i am intrested to see how they will portray the 2pokemon at once battle system on gamecube.

What is up with you DL. You are your friends argue over specs of a game console, and now believe such things for another SSB game. I love to dream to but you just make it sounds unappealing.

IGN ran something about dream games with alot of this imaginary information. Also, with the sonic, tails, and megaman part, you need to realize company copyright laws and how hard it would be to actually get that to happen which means its impossible practically.

U did? I still do.
SSBM3 willnever come. N has almost nothing extra to put in that game then. Be to much of the same.
Besides Soul Caliber II is good enough

maybe soul caliber 2 will have pacman and mario unlockable.....with the weird special characters in tekken and nintendo publishing the game who knows.....

Link is an extra character already. Hes the only on that is qualified ( has to bee popular).

Why Link???!  One thing : The Sword.
Mario doesnt have asword and Pacman well....... he doesnt even have clothes.
And besides it would be cheating eating your oppenent .

I could definetly see SSB3 being released this fall or early next year, on the Gamecube. It sells extraordinarily well in all regions, currently being the Gamecube's bestselling title. SSBM was also released only 2 years after SSB, I believe (or not much later or sooner than that). Besides, HAL has to be working on something other than Mother 3 (), what else? They've probably been at least planning and designing a sequel since SSBM was released.

Link- If you mean Nintendo by N, no, Nintendo does not own the rights for Sonic. Sega has , always has, and always will.

yep he's right. And also we will not get a new SSB this year or even next in my oppinion because whenever a game this good is made it takes forever for another to be released.

Also, has a great game ever slipped passed the radar of the internet these days?

If there were another coming within the next 18 months we would at least have a report saying that there was another being made. I think Kilik from Soul Calibur 2 should be in the next one if another SSB comes ever. Heck, Namco did borrow link after all.

In the next one they should improve on some of the charecters. They shouldn't make Ganondorf a clone. There shouldn't be any clones at all. And most importantly they should make Mewtwo as strong as he really is! They gave gim bad moves. His Disable could've worked if it wasn't so shor ranged and you didn't have to be face to face with the enemy. Confusion is completly useless. His only good moves are teleport and Shadow Ball. They should've given him Psycic, where he could control an enemy for a short while. Although useless in one-on-one battles. In melee battles it could be very good.

At the very least, I want to see the following characters in the next Super Smash Bros. game:

- Pit
- Little Mac
- Wario
- Toad
- Waluigi
- Captain Olimar
- Peppy
- Slippy
- Tom Nook
- Bulbasaur

I'm sure they'd toss in at least one extra Pokemon, so I just went ahead and picked the coolest one, which is of course Bulbasaur.

As for the stages, I'd like:

- A mythological underworld complete with columns for Kid Icarus... with an Eggplant Wizard that pops out and turns players into eggplants at random.

- A boxing ring, with fans that interact depending on the quality of the match... kind of like how the crowd would chant the player's name, but if the match is really boring, or someone is using the same moves a lot, they'd throw stuff (and it would cause damage).

- A Pikmin level, of course.  One based on one of the bigger ones.

- A Pokemon forest, rather than just a stadium, where wild Pokemon attack.

- A fast StarFox scrolling level where the only thing to stand on were the four StarWolf ships as they tried to gun you down.

I think they still have a lot they can do.  Why they included the damned ICE CLIMBERS in Melee and not Pit from Kid Icarus or Little Mac from Punch-Out!! is completely beyond me.  And if you're going to have Fox and Falco, you might as well make Peppy and Slippy too.

Lastly, I'd like for it to be online competitive, but not just "meet some friends online and get to smashin'!"  I'd like a serial number with each copy of the game and registered, online rankings and tournaments.  It's about time people got recognized for how good you can actually get at this game without having to find a tournament in their local area.  They could call it Super Smash Bros World Tour or something along those lines.

There's still more you can do with the game.  Maybe a more in-depth grapple system.  Lots more trophies, etc etc.  New modes of play.  Whatever.  There's more that can be done here, but I agree... I doubt we'll see it for a while.

Man, talk about being a totally broken move.  If you had control over the other character you could just walk them off the SCREEN.  That's not useless in *any* mode, and it's far too powerful/annoying/ludicrous to even be *considered*.

here is a very logical and beneficial thing nintendo should do.  Instead of releasing SSB3, they should sell a disc which would open up online play.  Thats it.  Very little programming to worry about and EVERYONE with a SSBM would purchase it.  There online market is now secure, and they can put off SSB3 for a long time, because we will be VERY content with our MELEE online.  It almost seems stupid not to do this.  (DONT FORGET MIYAMOTO HAS A NEW FRANCHISE IN THIS E3, THAT MEANS A NEW CHARACTER).

Hmm actually i was thinking more along the lines of using one of the enemys moves against them. Not actually completely controlling them.

Hmm... I was thinking a bit more about Mewtwo's Psychic...

You could control the charecter for an extremly short time, like half a second, just enough time to get in a special move but not enough time for you to walk off the edge.

Or you could do a Donkey Kong like thing where you have to struggle to get free before he throws you off the side. If you don't do a thing to resist, you can control him for alot longer.

And also it would be hard to aim and couldn't be used for awhile in between.

But i really do want to see Mewtwo more powerful and not so bad. He's my fav pokemon.

i totally agree chris, i was so overwhelmed with joy when i got mewtwo, and i ended up being very disapointed, with the exception of the charge and teleport.  Definetly do something else.  Perhaps confusion attack, make your enemys controls backwards for a short time.
