It would be nice if Nintendo would finally learn from their mistakes and from the sucess of Sony. I mean I've been buying Nintendo systems only since the NES came out, but I like other NES gamers have grown up, and I wish Nintendo would realize that and stop trying do what so-called parents want. Sony doesn't give in to parents about game content; so why does Nintendo give in. I mean the thing to do is make sure parents understand game ratings. I mean it's not that hard. Nintendo needs to understand this before they release Revolution. If they release a Next-Gen console with games like Donkey Konga on it. They're just going to keep alienating 3rd party developers, older gamers like me more and more. That will eventually move on to Sony or MS. As much as I rather not to.

I'm sorry, but *YOU* are the one who needs to grow up...You aren't mature by avoiding colorful games...

You obviously don't get the point or paid attention to the sales history of the N64 and now the GC. I mean c'mon. Just about all the 3rd party support either abandoned the N64 for the PS1 or put most of their games on the PS1 and less or more cute games on the N64.; and history is repeating itself again with GC. Nintendo needs to stop trying plz parents and think more about what the gamers want, and not what they think gamers want.

No, Bill is right. And have you even tried Donkey Konga? Hell of a fun game. Of course, if instead of Donkey Kong you would have hookers whose heads would explode every time you clapped, you'd probably already have three copies of it.

You're missing the point. I'm not really a fan of those type of games at least grand theft auto type games. I just would like to see Nintendo stay in the game industry. Be number 1 again. I mean. A game console can't last on just 1st and 2nd party software. Look at all the games that the PS2 and X-box are getting from 3rd parties compared to what gc owners like myself getting. I would like to Devil May Cry, Street Fighter from Capcom. I'd like to see games like Contra(which use be a great nintendo system only game once), Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, Gradius, etc. from Konami, not to mention one my favorite game characters from the NES days Ninja Gaiden; which now an X-box only from Tecmo(X-box lovers). But I guess this means nothing to you huh. As long as you can play on bongo drum controllers. You know that was suppose to be another Donkey Kong Country game first right. Until Nintendo dumped Rare.

You're wrong. If you want those games so much go buy an x-box or ps2. Nintendo makes games for all people and I don't think they lack much. Also it's hard for Nintendo to stay number 1 when they have a new contender(Microsoft) with a system that doesn't actually suck.

Rare sure hasn't contributed a whole lot to Microsoft, huh? PERFECT DARK ZERO COMING LIKE WHAT! It's been coming like what for years. Rare wasn't all that great. Oh, and we're getting a classic-style DK game game that uses the bongo controller, so NYAH. That seems much better than another DK collect-a-thon.

It can, and it has. The gamecube is a great system that has sold well. Just because it didn't sell the most means nothing. Besides, the GBA sales alone could keep a failed system afloat, so I'm sure along side a succesful system it's having no troubles supporting Nintendo. It really doens't mean much if Nintendo is first, as long as the keep making enough to stay alive so they can keep making great games.

You see that's the exact point I'm trying to make. You all just don't get it. Open you're minds. We shouldn't have to buy another game system to get some of those games. That's what 3rd party developers are for they provide multi-platform games.(KEYWORD: MULT-PLATFORM) Don't you get it.? I wanted to play sly cooper I'll go get a PS2, but I don't we should have the same options as X-Box owners or PS2 owners. Why should anyone have to buy a PS2 just to play for example Metal Gear Solid. We barely got the first and the only Metal Gear Solid game to be on the GC. The creator of the game Hideo Kojima said " I don't think a game like Metal Gear Solid would sell as well on the GC". Basically he's saying that all GC owners are kids under 17, or people who aren't mature enough for games like that. And that's how just about all 3rd party developers who either barely support the GC or left Nintendo feel. None of you can't say that you've seen games that were made by; Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, etc. that were put on the X-box and PS2, but not the GC was fair. C'mon
