Does it work with existing memory cards? I want to move my Animal Crossing data, Pokemon Colosseum data, and F-zero GX data from my MemoryCard 251 to my 1019. Would this let me do it? Or is there something else I can use to do this?

Datel's memory card has a USB-connector on it, so it wouldn't work with any other memory cards.



Hopefully they will release the MAX Drive Pro soon as well.

i believe you can just put both memory cards into your gamecube (one in slot a, the other in slot b) and boot up your cube without a game disc in.  you should be able to move/copy from one memory card to another.

Some games like F-Zero GX for whatever retarded reason don't let you copy saves.  I assume 31 Flavas is looking for a way around that.

They don't let you copy saves, but they do let you move saves.  There are two different functions.

And it isn't a retarded reason.  Its to prevent things like pokemon cloning and what have you.  Too bad there is an action replay...

Damn cheaters.

Yeah, perhaps some idiot at Sega determined that there's a possible exploit if you shut down the system before it gets to delete the original save... But it's perfectly save to allow for unchecked remote code injection, RIGHT SEGA???

It is very stupid on Sega's part to allow this bug into PSO, especially since it is so easy to prevent. Sign the code with a private encryption key and put the corresponding public key in the game. The public key can then be used to verify that the code originates from Sega. What's more stupid is that all PSO games have this "bug". PSO 1&2+ and PSO3 both have this bug even though they were released long after it was discovered.
