It doesn't really bother me anymore that one of the biggest asses I have the displeasure of knowing on the Internet "moderates" here. It doesn't even bother me that Ty seems to have some sort of ridiculous thing in his sig that I thankfully don't have a plugin installed for (I've heard it's some obnoxious sound). It doesn't even bother me that such things are against the forum rules. But it DOES bother me that all the other moderators are beginning to take a page from his book, even Bloodworth who I used to have a lot of respect for.
Btw, forum rules that are broken by one or more moderators since I have left, who are supposed to set an example.
You may add a custom avatar (also called a "author icon") to your profile. It should be no more than 100x100 pixels in physical size, and no more than 20KB in data size. It should not contain any offensive graphics or needless animation

The moderation here has been getting seriously weak recently. The extemely strict (but perfectly reasonable) older style compared to the new irrational-but-looser one hasn't helped the forum at all. Good humour has always been a boost to the forums but when it actively errodes decent discussion things have gone too far. After months of stagnation a new group of good posters joned, but things have just slipped away again. Removing the game-specific forums helped, but without the discussion in the first place nothing much has changed. I guess the forum regulars will swell in number again after Christmas. Will Rick come back in time?
