Title: DS screen question?

Can both screens be used at the same time making them 1 big screen.

they haven't said anything yet but maybe they'll do that with the gba games....hmmm

I dont think they could do that with the GBA games, because the 2 screens combined are so tall and skinny that a gba game would not fit without some extra programming.
Besides if you combine the 2 screens on the DS you have that annoying bar in the middle.

Yes, they showed a number of games that use both screens to form one image... a tall shot of Samus, air hockey with different halves of the table on each screen, etc.

Well if it looked like those really huge TVs with those black lines that criss-cross through then that would be ok. Example it would look like a TV but with a single black line in the middle.
But really its better to have the screen of the top flap to take up the space around it.

i wouldn't care if the gba game screens could be long, anyway...these forums are extremely slow
