What's happening? The domain name fails to resolve. Did your registrar go tits-up?

This is weird.  Today at work I couldn't access the site and was getting the same problems as before.  I assumed the site got wanged again but it's working from here at home and according to the forum people were posting while I was at work today so the site obviously wasn't goofed for everyone.  Anyone else have any problems today?

I haven't been here in a week.  Silly internet.

DNS problems basically have to do with other machines on the Internet recognizing your server is there.  So while your ISP at home was able to identify the site, the one at work couldn't.  Jonny had the same problems with accessing it from school.  I really don't understand the details, but that's basically it.

The Aussie crew couldn't access it either, DNS issues are fun.

Well, if you used netcraft.com to look up what the last known IP of PGC was you could access the site even in the "downtime". But since noone else tried using the forums in that time it was pretty boring...

For future reference: Please bookmark this so it doesn't get so boring in here when the DNS acts up.
