Title: Nintendo's latest Cube commercials

Has anyone seen Nintendo's latest commercials for the Cube. I saw one last night while watching South Park and it was actually pretty good, advertising games a few months before release and showing a decent amount of gameplay footage. It showed three games, Bateon Kaitos, Goldeneye and Metroid Prime 2. In each case, it showed a couple of shots of one person, gave them a title (in Metroid's case, "Bounty Hunter") and then showed gameplay footage along with the game title, then at the end of the commercial, asked "Who Are You"? A pretty stylish ad, especially compared to the "councelor" one that showed up earlier this year. You can watch it here

Edit: They've also got another version featuring games like Star Fox, Paper Mario 2 and Pikmin 2.

Hot damn, those are REALLY good.  I admit the councelor one was pretty cheesy, but these on the other hand are just fantastic.  Even though I'm not a fan of Rob Zombie, they utilized his song well (White Zombie at the time).  I do especially like the Baiten Kaitos one.  Nice job buddies!!

yeah, I saw those on IGN the other day, but they said they'd be strictly theatre ads...

hmm, they are pretty sweet so I'm glad they're bringing it to the small screen.

those ads make the gamecube look more for older audiences than the xbox does!

I like how for the Meroid part, you can't tell the lady on the motorcycle is a women until she takes off the helmet a la Samus

the ads are already being shown on tv in usa as we speak

the last lot of ads were cool, dj comet played the weirdo (guy at the window) on the wavebird ad hehe

thu they lack the funny side like the japanese ads

I would just like to add that the commercial for Pikmin 2 is the BEST I've ever seen...And I've seen some great commercials...

Good lord that was bizzare.... and FUNNY.
I wonder how many 50+ year olds are going to be watching that commercial (my parents included) and saying to themselves "What the ****?"

That Pikmin 2 commercial truly is amazing, it's HILARIOUS and actually presents the game very well. Pikmin 2 is gonna be huge!

It'll be interesting to see how Nintendo advertises the DS, but that's for another topic (and forum!). *ba doom chick*

It's shot in Sydney Australia (Sydney pietriots holla), and the best part is NAL (Nintendo Australia Limited) would have had nothing todo with it or had any idea it was even happening, cause they're cool like that.

I have to admit for a costumed commercial that was pretty rad (I'm looking at you Bill ).  I still think nothing can touch the original Smash Bros commercial but since Reggie started on, the commercials have been satisfying to watch.  Rejoice all!
Notice they start/end their commercials just like the GBA commercials?  Logical connections being made.
