I was just a wanderin' how many people here are boys/men and how many here are girls/women?? I would say it is mainly males who post here................but then again i may be be wrong.

The gender of Pikmin I would assume to be the same as plants...Either there are male and female versions, or they are self-fertilizing...My guess is on the later...Oh shi, why am I explaining this? >_<

I don't think there are male and female plants, there are merely male and female buds (often the buds are both and either only a part of the bud is active or they're both at once).

There are...These are called Dioecious plants...Some examples include Hollies(the females grow the red berries), Ginkgo, Date Palm, Persimmon, some poplars, etc...Obviously not as prominent as the more common monoecious plant(the hermaphroditic ones), but they exist...

Pikmin have no sex.  They reproduce by harvesting dead organisms and pellets into their onions.  It's in the game.  We know that's how they reproduce.  Thus they have no sex.

um... well we know that it works without Pikmin in it.  We also know that Pikmin have flowers - which are reproductive organs. Plus, we know that the onion requires food in various forms.  

It seems that the onion is likely the female form of Pikmin.  I'd guess that the flowers on the male Pikmin pollinate the interior organs of the onion at night, and that the food provides extra energy to the incubating seeds, allowing them to be released.

Well, maybe there are Pikmin that have to remain inside the onion and aren't listed in your troop numbers? I mean, Olimar never looked inside the onion, he has no idea whether there already were Pikmin in it...
