I just saw part of Troll (the movie Greybrick was talking about) and realized that it was the movie I've been trying to remember the name of since forever. I'm adding this one (not the sequel again) to the list on Sunday.

Big Trouble in Little China
Streaming: LetMeWatchThis

Year: 1986
Rating: PG-13
Length: 100min
Starring: Kurt Russel & Kim Cattral
Directed By: John Carpenter
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Martial Arts
Quote
Traveling through a shadowy world filled with supernatural creatures and spectacular action, regular guy Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) and lawyer Gracie Law (Kim Cattrall) try to track down a 2,000-year-old magician, Lo Pan (James Hong), who has kidnapped Burton's friend's green-eyed fiancée. John Carpenter directs this adventurous spoof of the martial-arts movie genre set in San Francisco's Chinatown district.

I'm looking forward to this one (which is good since I appear to be the only one watching these movies) and I think it's the perfect movie to have right after GPK. Cause seriously, who didn't think Garbage Pail Kids when they saw this scene?

If you haven't seen this movie and you like 80's flicks, this is one to not miss.

It really is a good movie. Fun fact: the special effects team in charge of the effects in this film are the same people who did the effects in Ghostbusters.

Ah. Back when special effects mattered. :)

Too bad CGI has largely ruined cinema.

There's a live broadcast of Rifftrax/MST going on in theaters next thursday. How about we do MFT next week?

My mistake, that should've said WEDNESDAY for the Rifftrax of Jack the Giant Killer. Broadcast live to movie theaters nationwide on Wednesday, August 17 at 8:00pm ET / 7:00pm CT / 6:00pm MT / and 8:00pm PT (tape delay).

I need a new computer/more RAM before doing more MFT

Instead of MFT, may I suggest we take a page out of a recent Newscast and Watch Star Trek: The Next Generation with a Significant Other, or WSTTNGWASO.

Recording her reactions or your explanations/justifications in an audio track or through a video (pointed at the TV) would be preferable. This could be done without time constraints, assuming one has a SO.

Hobo with a Shotgun. This movie.... I'm not really sure what to expect from it.

It's in Technicolor and has that authentic mid 70's - early 80's look.

Oh... a few minutes in an we are already seeing Bum Fights®

that's gotta be a good sign... right?

Alright. I don't know what you would do if someone came running down the street with a man hole cover padlocked around his neck screaming that they are gonna kill him... but gathering like an audience probably isn't it. Especially after they set him up in his death trap position

and then take a blood bath from the fountain spewing from the decapitated torso.
I guess this is gonna be a bloody one guys.

Believe it or not, but that 5 seconds was actually kinda hot. hair whipping and all.

edit: Did I mention that there was a rather large audience standing around like they bought tickets for this show?

"Now what do you have to say for yourself!?" "LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TALKING OT YOU DAMNIT!!!"

Just when I was beginning to think that either I wasn't in the mood to actually MFT this movie or maybe it just wasn't right for MFT-ing

Muthafukkin Santa Claus rolls by in a Chrystler

with a kidnapped child in the back

"Somebody Please help me"
HAHAHA LOL. I know I shouldn't laugh at that (yes I should), but it caught me off guard.

& it looks like Bum Fights is back

but sometimes a bums gotta do what a bums gotta do.

But someone always has to go and cross that line.

But in his defense.... that baby is actually armed and dangerous. Don't let the tears and the fact that he looks a few months old fool you. That baby has a body count of atleast 8 or 9 heads by now.

Too bad for the guy pointing the gun though, because this Hobo has had enough

Let the blood bath begin....

....again

But this one wasn't nearly as hot. It's hard to keep it up when she crying and screaming the whole time.

You know there is supposed to be a few rules that always get followed when making a movie.

1. Never mutilate the family pet.... atleast not on screen.

2. Never kill the children.

Having said that, I'm not sure I like where this next scene is headed.

That's a flame thrower in his hands, and that's a school bus they are walking towards
And just so you know, this movie is more graphic and gory than I was expecting.

OTOH though, I'm sure these are some bad ass kids that all need to be taught a lesson.

"HE MADE ME CUUUUM!!!"

was probably another favorite you will find in this movie that sounds like it was also in Unagi's thread.

I'd show a pic of the scene, but that wouldn't help it make any sense out of context.
