I know I won't be posting soon because here in the Nashville area there are only barren shelves where Skylanders use to be.  I just need the ice expansion at this point...

Have you managed to score a Legendary Trigger Happy yet?
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

I saw a sad, pathetic man walk in a Toys R Us during his lunch break looking for the Empire of Ice set. Oh wait, that was me. :P

Ceric, we're in the same boat. I almost bought a Legendary 3 Pack (Bash, Spyro, and Chop Chop, I think), but I convinced myself to not go for it. I'm only interested in different characters as opposed to suped up versions of figures I already own.

I worked at Target for the holidays and I want to say 60% of the questions I got were "do you guys sell Skylanders" which we did and then it was "do you have so and so?".
I still don't really grasp the concept of Skylanders.

I still don't really grasp the concept of Skylanders.

It's a pretty standard game that only exists as a thin veil to sell kids overpriced and artificially scarce merchandise. It's not really even a new idea to that extent.

The local Walmart has a sign in the video game aisle that reads "Only one Skylanders game per customer." Then again, I see the game and many of the figures in stock so I suppose the rush has died down.

Until this holiday season. You could stock up now, wait until everything is sold out, and hock them all.
