Does anyone know if there is going to be a liveblog or chat room for the direct, like there was in past years for e3?  I may be able to watch the conference while at work, but I won't have sound...

Just finished up the 3rd area and got prepared for the 3rd dungeon. I decided to upgrade my wooden shield fully. I don't think there is going to be any fire enemies in the dungeon so I should be fine.

Oh how do you get the Treasure Medal to show up at Beedles? Do you have to buy the Life Medal?

That I don't know. I got mine from a Goddess Chest.

I used mine on the Life Medal.  Didn't do what I wanted it to but, still handy.  Not sure what the Treasure one does.  I think I've gotten less Rupees since getting it...

The treasure medal increases the rate for monster bit/item drops ("treasure") that you can use to upgrade your weapons.

Mental note: I need to make it a priority to pick that thing up as soon as I have the funds for it, because the drop rate on those items is ridiculously low.  I had to grind just to get enough materials to upgrade my wooden shield, and it looks like now that was a waste of time because the Iron Shield is better anyway.

Not true. :)  There are areas later on where you'll want to have the Wooden Shield instead (least that's how I felt).

Anyway, So I'm stuck in the Fire temple at the first Ball Part.  I've got the one side button but I can't figure out how to get my ball to the other side.  I'm sure its something easy.

Hint: There is a bombable wall on that side next to the pillars. I got stuck there, too, and it took me forever to figure it out.

Like others have said, I want to know if Last Story, Xenoblade, and Pandora's Tower are coming to NoA or to NoE?  And if it's going to NoE in English, why isn't it coming to NoA?
In a similar vein, will the Wii-U be region-locked?

Onwards to EA and Ubisoft!

Is anyone doing liveblogs for these conferences?

I wish that Nintendo would show the previews they have on the Bonus Disk for commercials.

Oh, saw both the Zelda commercial and the Free game commercial during Reign on CN.  Good job, Nintendo!

EDIT:

Oh, and I also think they should bring back commercials similar to the ones they had at launch, where the guy would be surrounded by a cube and there'd be gameplay.  And I hear they put advertisments on G4? Why not put them on Tech TV?  Everyone I know watches Tech TV (and they all own either PS2 and XBox).  Tech TV caters to that older male demographic that Nintendo supposebly isn't reaching.  Why not advertise RE, ED, etc. on this channel?  (i think i've gone off topic, oh well)

YEAH!!!  I got my disc today (that was my v-day present, from myself....bummer)  and its great.

I don't get the whole graphical mumbo-jumbo (so i'm a simpleton).  I've only started MQ, but the colors seem brighter and sharper.  And the dungons are harder.   I'm stuck in the deku tree, for crying outloud! (will not think about water temple.....scary.....)

and its going to snow, like, 20 inches!  Gotta love life right now!

Nintendo Gaming / Will Zelda: Wind Waker break sales records?

Whatcha mean the casual gamer won't notice? I can't walk into ANY gaming store in my area and NOT see a Zelda Pre-order poster.  True, it has the Gamecube link on it, but it does have all the letters really big!

Don't take the casual gamer too lightly.  (err. . . maybe not)  But considering I live in a high X-box populated area (apparently the free games bargain was targeted at suburban maryland. . .) theres a lot of hype surrounding the launch.  A lot more than with Metroid Prime, by the way.

And I hear the free game sale is starting soon.  They'll be adds up for that in a few days, if not already.  People respond to things in predictable ways.  They see FREE and decided that it must be better because its the better deal.
