Sega's new console is coming out this December.

You haven't heard!!? SEGA's new console launches TOMORROW 09/09/09 Return of the Dreamcast!

Dude, it was delayed.  Some **** about USA-Euro exchange rates and price cuts and Natal not being ready in time.

Sega's new console will be competing with Natal? Dreamcast 2 = Natal and Wii killer? Sign me up!

I think I have the Iguanadon torso. I'll have to check later tonight and let you know. I had several pieces extra of it floating around but I've been giving them to Hopper since he likes dinosaur bones.

Perhaps the more jerky and abrupt motions you do throw off the calibration faster?

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but wasn't there a WiiWare game that has yet to come out that had a funny spelling that was supposed to be interesting? Am I thinking of Liight?

That is why most things Japanese doesn't leave Japan. The things they call entertainment over there would blow your mind.

I really want my mind to be blown. I really do.. Japan is like a living breathing FUNHOUSE!

I can't wait to plan my getaway to Japan. I'm hoping to save up a, learn a little Japanese and stay there for a minimum of 1 month.

We'd need a whole new sub-board to contain all the reports of your adventures there. I want to see lots of pics, too.

Yay! Return of the Jedi! And wasn't Colorz supposed to be interesting or did I mix it up with something else?

Maybe it came from the UK? The game has been out there for several months. So maybe the submitted art was added for the US version?

No, I don't have Super Paper Mario. It's on my 'Too-Buy' list. I'll eventually get it, but there are so many games on my Too-Buy list that it may be a while.

Some cool levels. But I doubt it. Still haven't switched out the lame ass toads. They need to do that already.

It would be a lot better if there were some authentic differences between each character, like what about playing as Bowser?

Playing as Bowser in the Paper Mario games was always funny. The mock Super Mario Brother levels in 1000 Year Door were great. Makes me want more Bowser platforming goodness.

They should at least make it be Mario, Luigi, Toad and Peach like in SMB2 USA. Two toads does make for repetitiveness and will probably make the people playing them feel like 2nd tier players in the game.

You can't make me. :P

I also said games didn't have save features and yet some of them did. I don't hear any complaining about that...

I choose my battles stubbornly.

So how's your nephew Stratos?? I wish I had a spare security blanket to send ya, cuz I have an awesome one I plan on giving to my best friends 4month old daughter when i visit her for the first time later this month (she was born after he moved to NM). I got it at the Nintendo World Store, its a very soft material and has a picture of Baby Mario being carried by a stork embroidered on it. It's one of the finest peices of Nintendo Merch ever!

He and Mommy and Daddy are getting into a pretty steady routine now. His Dad has to go back to work on Tuesday  I don't get to see him a whole lot because of work and girlfriend time, but he was giving me really odd looks today when I held him. He was all fussy and hungry and my sister needed to get ready to feed him so I held him for a bit and he just calmed down and gave me the strangest look. Like he had no clue what to think of me. Cute little bugger.

I now have to go to the Nintendo Store to get a blanket like that one for when/if I ever have a kid. Always wanted to go visit it anyway.

i sort of wish you could scan the corpse of a fallen boss and re fight him and scan him again if you didn't before. SOme of the boss battles were tons of fun.

A boss challenge/rush mode would have been a cool addition.

Is your town like the drug capital of Animal Crossing or something? Jitters, Bella and others always seem to be having these 'strange' episodes.

Well it just doesn't look like you succeeded.  That OP and the title are pretty much all about that one trailer, and good job putting what could've been appropriate opening-discussion in this thread instead of that thread in the first place.

If we were discussing [Nintendo console] trailers, I'd end up pointing to my website.

Your site does have a great collection.

It just shows that you think a lot more before you post.

I used to be that way back on my old account here. I reserved my thoughts a lot of the time. Don't know why I changed so much this time around.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Official Wii Sales Thread
« on: September 05, 2009, 04:43:17 PM »
The only issue is that games with multiple versions/skus hog up the top of the top of the charts. Not that big of a deal.

Us fanatics can just add up the numbers later from the different versions. Or the publisher will brag that X brand has sold Y many copies of games between all the versions.

11247
Little King's Story for Wii is in the Amazon gold box for $29.98 for the next 4 hours, or until sold out.

Just thought I would share that here. Stele posted it in the deals thread. Still a bit of time left of copies are still available. Go for it!

11248
The only thing I tend to find lacking is storage space, but getting an extra HDD is relatively cheap and easy to do.

11249
Picked the game up yesterday, haven't tried it yet though!

Not playing games right away must be the lastest NWR-wide theme.

It's the cool thing to do. Buy the games and start a whole shelf dedicated to holding them forever preserved in their shrink-wrapped beauty. It's the new e-peen: "My stack of unplayed games is bigger than your stack".

I'm not a graphix whore, so I can live with medium settings instead of maxed out ones.
