Given that Labo VR uses the Switch’s portable setup, the best you can hope for is 360p per eye (half of the native 720p resolution)

I'm a little confused by this. 720 refers to the vertical resolution. At 1280 × 720, splitting it down the middle would give 640 × 720. Are you saying it cuts the resolution even further to make it 320 × 360 per eye?

He even learned how to compose music through putting it [Undertale] together.

Where'd you get that info? He'd been making music for Homestuck for years before even launching the Kickstarter for Undertale. Hell, the original version of Megalovania, the piece used for the final boss when going on an Ultimate Murder Rampage, was written for his Halloween Hack of EarthBound back in 2008.

Valiant Comics, you say? If they don't have the Super Mario or Captain N comics on here, I'm going to be incredibly upset.

The closer to the peak of your jump it is struck, the higher it will go.

So it goes higher when your guy would typically have the least amount of vertical speed at the time of impact? That does seem a bit counterintuitive.

Am I the only one that's bugged by the orientation of the designs they put on these special edition 3DS systems?  Maybe I'm a special case here, but I keep my system in a carrying case when I'm not playing it. When I'm playing it, I'm looking at the screen. That means the people on the other side who are able to see the image are seeing it upside down.

It does everything needed to satiate the needs of those who backed the game, but nothing more.

Speaking as someone who backed the game and got the PC version (I initially selected Wii U but changed my mind due to modding potential in the PC version), I feel like there's something they promised in the Kickstarter that they failed to deliver on.

So what makes Mighty No. 9—the character as well as the game—different? Simply put: the ability to transform! Of course our hero, Beck, earns new weapons as he defeats each of his fellow Mighty Number boss robots, but more than that, his body itself can also reconfigure into new shapes, allowing for all kinds of new skills and abilities!

Transformations were supposed to be the thing that made the game different, but the transformations we ended up getting in the final game were purely aesthetic.  You could put Mega Man in there with basic palette swaps and it would play exactly the same.

What really makes the game different is the dashing and assimilation, yet the marketing seems to emphasize the transformation aspect.

I was actually disappointed by the music in the game.  The Hyrule Field arrangement that plays when you're solving puzzles has some instrument samples that are out of tune enough for me to find them horrendously grating when they kick in.  I had to keep the volume turned down when solving puzzles because of it.

Weird thing is, I asked a bunch of people about it, and only about half were also bothered by it.  The other half either didn't notice or didn't care.

Going by this site's review, the Wii U version had some game breaking bugs.

Said review also says it would be updated once the problem had been fixed, but it's been over a year without being updated.  However, other sites seem to have reported that a patch has been released to fix the issues.

There weren't any SNES games in the Ambassador program. There were GBA ports of SNES games which the 3DS could play by switching to DS mode.

I thought it was delayed until 2016?

As one of a number of popular characters from the Animal Crossing series – namely Isabelle, K.K. Slider, Tom Nook, Mabel, Reese, Cyrus, Tom Nook, K.K. Slider, Isabelle, Mabel, Lottie (a new character from Happy Home Designer), and Digby

Is there a reason Tom Nook, Isabelle, K.K. Slider, and Mabel were listed twice?

What do you mean, "braking for the first time in the entire series"?  Was I the only one who used (and misses) the banana recovery trick from MK64, where you hit the brakes after hitting a banana peel to keep from spinning out?

I'd like to see Amiibo cards get announced.  The figures are cool and all, but all the game functionality is in the base, and I'd be interested in having that functionality in an easy to produce card form.  They'd also have the benefit of being more portable than the figures now that New 3DS supports Amiibo.

I'm not sure I trust the coin counter. I logged in yesterday, it said I had 300 coins until gold.  I registered Captain Toad, it said I had 30 coins until gold.  I highly doubt Captain Toad is worth 270 coins.  I tried again a few hours later, it said I still needed 300 for gold again.  Haven't tried it yet today, so no telling what it says I need now.

There were some secrets in the original game that could only be found using the Tingle Tuner. Since the Tuner has been replaced with the Bottle in the HD edition, is there an alternate way to access those secrets, or have they been removed entirely?

I agree the video has some issues. If it did such a great job explaining how to play the game, we shouldn't have Miiverse posts asking how to open red doors, or "y can't metroid crawl".

Once again, they can't even accurately depict what Myst 3DS is like.  The promo video is the same one that's been around for nearly a year (although they changed "March 2012" to "This holiday season").  The same video that shows the gameplay on the touchscreen, even though the screenshots in the game's description depict the gameplay on the 3D screen.  In fact, those screenshots are probably the most accurate depiction of the game I've seen thus far, as all other screenshots have been of RealMyst in a resolution too large for the 3DS to display.

I looked around, and I haven't heard anything good about it.  Visible compression in the graphics, awkward control scheme, and no stereoscopic 3D (the whole reason you'd want to play it on 3DS).  You can get a better experience for 1/5 the price on PC or iOS, so why pay $30 for it here?
