The demo is pretty good. You should get at least two hours of playtime if you're into it.

I was getting super excited for this game, but then I discovered there is no multiplayer. Maybe we will get a sequel with multiplayer and shared worlds?

Good News, Dragon Quest Builders 2 has up to 4 person multiplayer.
