I picked up Rock Band 4 tonight. Got it on Xbox One, since all my old DLC and instruments were for the 360. The interface for redownloading old songs sucks, though, you have to do it one at a time without a list of just stuff you already had. I quickly realized why, as I ended up buying about a dozen new songs in the process of that.

Zenonia is a pretty repetitive, poorly written affair, but it the combat system is decent and you get more than enough for the asking price.

Yeah - I remember playing this on DSiWare. Never finished the game though, and kind of regret purchasing it. There is a lot of content and some neat ideas... but it just needed a lot more polish. The translation work in particular was very poor.

Bought Battle Princess of Arcadias (PS3) today while it was still down from thirty to nine Euro. Got a soft spot for side-scrolling action jRPG, so this was on my list for some time now (though it's odd to see a NISA game getting a digital only release).

Also placed my pre-orders for Stella Glow (due Nov. 17), The Legend of Legacy (should arrive this week) and Xenoblade Chronicles X (we all know when this'll come out) a few weeks back. Can't say that I'll be running out of games to play, can I?

Gamestop is running a promotion where you get $100 credit when you trade in your PS360 towards the purchase of a PS4 or XB1. I am thinking about it real hard, but I can't decide which console to get. The XB1 has the good exclusives (Forza, Rare Replay,Cuphead) IMO, but the PS4 Battlefront bundle is very tempting.

Grabbed a couple of DS games last night:
(1) Lunar Dragon Song - Reviewed poorly, but it was only $1 and I'm curious...
(2) Zelda Phantom Hourglass - Beat this game before, and seemed to enjoy it more than most. Paying $20 seemed reasonable, mostly because I want to get as many Zelda games as possible on my 3DS. (Currently sitting at 11 games from the series on my handheld, with only Spirit Tracks missing I think?)

That is a good find. I've noticed that the handheld Zeldas tend to have heavy mark up after they go out of print.

Took advantage of Gamestop's 3DS trade-in promotion. It bumped the trade-in value for 3DS, 3DS XL, or Vita to $100 with the purchase of a New 3DS XL. My brother's 3DS had a busted L-button so I've been planning on upgrading for a while and giving him my 3DS XL.

I also got Majora's Mask 3D whenever Best Buy had that sale.

Ooh. Activision Anthology on GBA? Maybe nostalgia is getting the better of me, but I'm looking forward to this collection of old Atari games arriving from eBay (and hoping it's not an overpriced pirated cart).

No kidding about inflated pricing! That's why I've never tried Spirit Tracks - had been waiting and hoping for a reprint, but doesn't seem like it's ever going to happen now. Oh well. Maybe someday I'll find a sub-$25 copy.

I picked up Spirit Camera today on 3DS after Fatal Frame Wii U got me moderately interested in it. As soon as I put the card in my New 3DS XL, my 3DS completely shuts down. It will not read the card, but will read all others I put in. At all. I'm curious whether there's a compatibility issue or if it's just a bad card.

(I have a PSTV and even with compatibility issues own a bunch of Vita games. So not entirely serious.)

Three more pickups this week:
(1) Shovel Knight (Wii U) - I've been waiting for the retail release for while. Ordered online, and look forward to it arriving.
(2) The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS) - Talked about this above, and was happy to find a copy for $25 this week. That's pretty much my upper limit when buying DS games, but was worthwhile since it moves my portable Zelda collection up to 12. (I think the only thing missing is Tri Force Heroes... which I'm on the fence about.)
(3) Dragon Quest IV (DS) - Used to have all three of the DS games, but traded away IV and V figuring: "what are the chances I'll replay these games?" Every time I look at my collection I regret the decision though, so grabbed this when it popped up locally on Kijiji.

So yeah... even though I'm happy with the results, spent way too much on games this week. $:-\$
