RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D slated for end of Spring release
« on: March 15, 2012, 04:18:39 PM »

Coming from Atari's Facebook...

RCT3D is slated to launch towards the end of Spring. We will provide an update if we receive any additional information.

Hopefully we'll get something more specific in the not-too-distant future. Thanks to Snowyday for the heads up!

To be fair, man, we did report on a May 22 date a while back. It's nice to hear Atari officially say it, though.

I appreciate you contacting me almost every way except for finding out where I live, but once would have been more than enough.

Generally for games and movies it means by the end of May (though Spring technically ends June 19 this year).

End of spring would be late May/early June, I'd assume. So basically: May 22 is likely a day you can think about writing into your calendar in pen.

I hope it comes out in May because May 30 is my birthday if it doesn't we might see it at E3 in June

I've never played a roller coaster tycoon game... I mean, I was big into park sims when I was a kid with Dino Park Tycoon and Theme Park, but I haven't played much in the genre recently. What's the roller coaster tycoon franchise like? Is it wholly focused on the Roller coasters or does it have a more varied interest with other types of rides, managing concessions and staff and advertising, etc.?

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.
