see them voicing special cut-scenes with a narrator

My guess as well. Though i still think Voice Acting can work. Ala Fable for instance, Voice for the NPCs.

The Touch Screen thing sounds odd. Maybe it means ala Mario 64 DS?

Didnt RE4 go down in price? I think so

Anyways, a friend of mine is getting this, thank goodness for 1 card multiplayer

Theres no Saturn Emulator made yet. Which is a shame. Id kill for some Nights, or some Panzeer Dragoon.

Master System, Genesis, and Maybe 32X would be fine though. Love to get me some Zillion, and Alex Kidd. Oh and Some SHinobi? Wow.

think Nintendo will try to out spec the PSP

The Next GB, was rumored to be using Gamecube architecture. If true then its ovbiously more powerfull than a PSP.

Anyways. Matt has an email NOA on this now... So its bound to get something done.

No. He probably got a free one at that Microsoft briefing though.

wish i could get a free HD TV.

but it's obvious that Nintendo isn't in dire danger of disappearing due to financial insolvency.

ALOT of those Third Party games developed on the GBA... I wonder how would the GBA look without Third Parties? Not as economically succesfull for Nintendo.

Its a Mistake. Nintendo has still time to change it, and i fully expect it to possibly happen. Not make them mandatory ala X360, but give developers the option.

8
This worries me more from Third Parties than Nintendo Games. Not having this, might make it more difficult for Third Parties, thus hurting their support even more. Personally id like alitle more support next gen from them, than i did these past two generations. Im hoping Nintendo Reconsiders, just for their sake. If it takes some pushing from a big third party so be it. EA for example telling them they need it.

Bah goldeneye, Metos, this and Kirby... Too much gaming, not enough $$

Actually i think they should just move Geist to the Revolution personally.

those SNES Cartridges sure were expensive. I remember Secret of Mana being really expensive too.

12
Its got 512 MB of Flash Memory right? and an SD adapter... so if you dl alot of N64 carts it might fill up faster...

General Gaming / Ubi Soft being bought out?

Ubi

I Like Ubi Soft alot. Splinter Cell, and Prince of Persia are two franchises i enjoy. I hope they arent bought out, unless its by Nintendo.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Factor 5 jumps ship. Swims over to Sony camp.

they done anything else worth noting? Factor 5 wasn't all that great anyway. They made two GC games and one of them sucked. Both

Once again, Factor 5 was more than a game maker, they spent alot of time making tools to push Nintendo hardware, its a BIG losss. Lets not  spin this like we did Rare.

Left Field made MTX Motortrax. Which was pretty good. they seem to know the dirt bike genre well.

Huge Loss...  They spent alot of time pushing the hardware and developing tools for it, not just making games. I was exited about the Pilotwings possibility too.

Nintendos developers keep jumping ship generation after generation. Makes me sligthly concerned.

I think it might be too small to have Play Yan built in

but it would be sooo wise if Nintendo bundled it with the Play Yan Cartridge...  if they did i might buy one and i have two GBA sps and 1 GBA

Nintendo Gaming / RE:New Super Mario Bros.

Im actually disapointed cause the bottom screen isnt used ala Sonic Rush to make a giant scren.. its just to pick powerups. Ill still buy it though

19
Its not a montly fee. Its a one time thing for a year or 3 months, and you get the comunicator and games you could play online.

20
I've yet to be terribly impressed with online console gaming

I have. I enjoy Xbox live alot, the only problem is the I LOVE HALO 2s that keep talking obcenities in the game. When you play with friends its alot of fun.  I have a couple of friends in the States and its great to be able to play with them online and form things like Car Clubs in Forza Motor Sport.

Xbox 360 im not as optimist about. The inclusion of eye toy like cameras will most certainly be abused.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Silicon Knights still working on games for GC
« on: May 20, 2005, 03:20:33 PM »
Hey weve got N-Space and Kuju thats a SK replacement! right? am i right?

oh and ive heard Too Human is a "hack and slash" game now and not the Deus Ex RPG game it was originally intended to be. No big loss.

22
Nintendos "Super Backwards compatibility" system that is online based is proof enough to me that Nintendo isnt going online "kicking and screaming" They have interest in it.  They werent forced into it.

23
Kojima isnt making it though hes just overseing it if im not mistaken

I want both Substance and MGS4... Sigh

24
Cartridges were more expensive and held less information, thus allowing for an exodus of third parties which lead to Sony taking market share

25
Nintendo will never beat Sony or Microsoft again... There ive said it.
