Qualifying for the prize.

So, how can you qualify to win a free game? It's simple. You just have to meet one of the requirements.

1. First player killed: Mr. Jack

2: Last player killed: Maxi

3: Members of the winning side: Dasmos, Mario, Decoyman, Nickmitch

4: First player to send a list to the host correctly naming the roles of all players: Dasmos

5: Random player picked: Golden Phoenix

6: Best Roleplay: RABicle

7: Best Strategic Play: Nickmitch staves off a vote twice and self-protects to win.


And there you have it. Now, a few clarifications. Not every spot has to go to a different player. Some players could very well meet different qualifications and take those spots. That's to your advantage. Less competition for the prize.

Khush, can we clear up something about the rules for a moment?

I'm sick of seeing players believe the doctor can prevent any death right at the last moment.

When the doctor or mafia doctor protect someone, they submit their protection during the night.  Then, the next day, not that same night, the player is protected.  He's also protected that night.  It occurs like so:
Night A: Doctor submits protection. *Protected player is vulnerable to hit from mafia or killer*
Day B: Khush posts who was protected.  *Protected player can not be killed by the vote*
Night B: *Protected player can not be hurt by hit from mafia or killer*

I thought I cleared this up back in the rule thread, but it seems, just from watching, that either I misunderstood, or several other people do.

Yeah, fair enough. I thought it was self explanatory in the role thread but I guess not.

No doctor, townie or mafia, can protect someone on the same day they send in a protect order. They must choose who they want to protect the day or night before and must live through that day and night to do so.

And when someone is protected successfully, that is made known in the announcements of each day. It will not pop up suddenly during the day or night.

Hopefully, everyone is now clear on that.


On a side note, at this point, I think any number of people could probably qualify for #4 on the prize requirement chart due to most roles being known or dead. And yet, not many people have entered for that. Strange.

I know, that's why I'm booing you.  My list is probably a little bit off.  It's not like I'm the one who has the ability to investigate, nor was I on a team open enough to take suggestions.  Instead, they just kill you mercilessly, and never think to even ask questions.

Yeah, Dasmos got it. Another spot locked up. I said I wouldn't reveal who got that spot until the game is over but with Dasmos dead and since I know I'm not giving anything away by confirming his list is right, I might as well just announce he has it.

I assigned them all roles that were machines.  That way, you don't have to worry about it, and they all get to be soulless robots, like stevey.

Metal Sonic is soulless. He's awesome and the greatest creation of Dr. R's. E-102 Gamma also has soul. I sense favoritism. The others all suck. Just like players who don't choose a character. And dead players who post in the daily voting threads. Ok, that last one was harsh and unfair to the players who haven't chosen a character since they suck more.

Well, to be fair, I did have Biolizard with the ARK space station for a tail as one of them, but I thought that was a little cruel.  I could have been wrong, though.  You can switch out Gamma for that, perhaps.  I can't think of any other majorish characters that were robots besides them.

Actually, I was thinking the same thing for Spak. He was the easiest to think of a character for since, BioLizard is orange and wears some technological backpack just like the Rescue Raptor.

Sorry I never switched my roles, but I am one that loves my avatars specially since they are custom designed for me usually.

And how do you not love the Rescue Raptor, I am after all he IS coming to the rescue.

You don't have to change your avatar to the role you choose.  You can choose a role.  Additionally, you could claim that Rescue Raptor is WereSonic's buddy in the upcoming Sonic Unleashed.

Yeah, I'm not saying people have to change their avatar. Just choose a character to give me something to work with as I try to find "funny" pictures for the day story which apparently sucks.

I'll remember that for the future, not wanting to change my avatar for what seemed like the thousandth time in recent memory was why I didn't pick a character. If I had, though, it was going to be E-102 Gamma.

So, that's what it was. I noticed I had cracked 2,000 posts but didn't bother to find out what it was since it's no big deal. I'm not about post count. I'm about quality. No. Wait. If that was true, I'd only have 100 posts. I am about quantity. I'm about quantity so much that I can't bother to mark specific milestones because they don't matter until I post more that Bill. Must post more.

More of the prize qualifications have been filled. Tomorrow I will fill in the Best Roleplay and choose a random player. As you make your thoughts known on the game, it should become evident what the best play of the game was and then we will fill in that last spot.

Alright. The best roleplay award goes to: RABicle. Even though he died early, he was the best one at imitating his character and probably did the most roleplaying.

Special mention goes to Mario with his awesome Marine posts. It's a shame he didn't make more or he may have won this. In fact, people may not realize but when Mario was killed in the story, I used messages he had sent me in the game for Marine's dialog. It was so good I just had to share it.

Stevey had an interesting way of role-playing Metal Sonic on day one by using code as speech but he soon abandoned that. Too bad.

Decoyman probably had the best avatar. I love that Chao thinking so hard over the vote. But it takes more than an avatar to win.

About the only other person who came close was Nickmitch with his Big the Cat looking for Froggy. Maybe it's just the fact that Big doesn't have much character or maybe just because he didn't post that much at first but it just didn't quite seem on the same level as RAB's imitation.


Now, onto the choosing of a random player. I have the names of all the players in a hat. I'm am going to choose a name one at a time. The last player selected will be the winner.

I figured Rab would win it.He did a great job.Mario didn't really make sense when I was reading his.It could just be I didn't get his character.Nickmitch was good but as you said Big doesn't really have a character to bring out.

Hmmm I wonder who is going to win the best strategic play title.
