MAFIA IX DAY 2: Metro City Drift
« on: September 05, 2006, 10:53:51 PM »
It looked like the end of the line for Ceric; he was corned and on the business end of one of Metro City's infamous, violent bandwagons. Only a crack team of prostitutes could get him out of this one, and probably only with the aid of a lot of lasers and suspension cables and vote-changing and a hint of vote invalidation. And they did, they like, totally, rappelled down that wall and stuff, man. I guess you had to be there. So the mob beat WindyMan, an innocent townie, to death instead. And then Fools Gold, too, for being a no-good duplicate account mcfraudmaster and Skull Cross goon. See where that gets you!

Meanwhile, Pale was arguing with a bunch of crazy Asians about how he was also really Asian, despite the fact that he was really the weird cracker Otaku Sodom and he wanted to enter his semi into their drift race. That sort of stuff gets you noticed by the wrong people in this town (and also wouldn't work anyway), so Mad Gear blew him up with dynamite. Way to go, champ!

Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

And a new day of voting begins! And then Skull Cross and the knifey guy strike!

Hahaha this is the best story yet. Can't beleive I missed out on yesterday's fun. Anyway so these rappelling prostitutes saved Ceric. I think the power is going to their head, those damn hoes. And when I think of whore, I think of Bill.

VOTE KHUSH because I think he's full of crap.
Quote

He says that Ceric is trying to spread suspicion on people. Let's examine that. The first vote is S-U-P-E-R. Ty isn't playing. The second vote is 18 Days. Nothing big. 18 Days already has a vote by Stevey and he's just stating that obvious that a lot of roles seem to repeat. Finally, Ceric votes for Shyguy, his real vote at the time. And random too. I think Windyman is trying to spread suspicion
Quote

EDIT: Removed my case against Windy. Ceric is the enemy. Have adjusted votes. We're at a tie.

EDIT 4: Windyman is back in the lead. I can't believe it. A mafia godfather (Ceric) could be voted out Day 1.
Quote

Ok, I've been given a big incentive to join in this vote against Ceric and I urge everyone else to do the same. I don't change my vote lightly and I think everyone should know that it must be something big to make me do this since I really was very sure in my vote. Every vote counts. Hurry people.
Quote

I can only appeal to those sitting on the sidelines to join in the Ceric vote. Pryo is right. Voting for Ceric isn't a bad thing. Why?
First of all. It's not you being voted out. That's good.
Second, if Ceric is the mafia head, everbody wins, except for that mafia. That's good.
Third, if Ceric isn't mafia, then we vote out Windy tomorrow. That means, it's not you being voted out. That's still good.

So, for a good chance to live till Day 3, join the Ceric vote.
I don't trust anyone who claims to have insider information, especially on day one.  Anyone who plays this seriously on the first day is suspicous in my mind.

EDIT:  I forgot the best one.
Quote

Ok. I think I've finally figured out the roles then. Good night everybody.
Right; WTG chief.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Hmmm, the "big incentive" line doesn't sit too well on me...It'd also be a great deal easier to "figure out the roles" when you're mafia...I'm going to go ahead and VOTE KHUSH for now as well...

Khush is always full of crap. I was thinking of voting him but he seems to want to be powerfult hrough words while the town whores are clearly just thinking they're far too powerful themselves.

The Chuck Norris didn't have much to go on, except a note saying he was a townie. But he knew the gang members needed to be taken out to lunch. And when the Chuck Norris doesn't have a lunch date, he goes on a blind date and sees what happens.

Yeah worst jpeg aliasing ever.

Doesn't matter even if it's not you wandering, you've tried this nonsense before. I like how your message earlier read that any mod could tell us that you arn't dupes but then realised that Ty knew Fools Gold was a dupe.

Yeah, whoops, I accidently forgot mods would be able to tell whether or not fools gold was a dupe account. /sarcasm

edit: the aliasing is because the image was removed from the original webpage and I had to use the google-resized version. I'll try and get a better one...

edit 2: I removed the "as any mod could tell you" line, btw, because I realized Pryo could be mafia.

Hey, I didn't think it was possible for anyone to know a person's role on Day 1 either but the evidence is all there. Since Windy is dead, I'll post what he sent me:

Someone inside the Skull Cross gang has double-crossed the group. Ceric is Black, Bill Aurion is Dave, and Dean did not join the group. I was quite surprised when this information made its way to my PM inbox.

Since you're not in the Skull Cross gang, this information is beneficial to you. If you're in Mad Gear, you know who your main enemies are. If you're a townie, you know who you should vote out. If you're any other special role, you can verify it or take your own actions.

I have no reason to lie; Ceric has every reason to. Notice how fast he changed his vote against me after he put two and two together?

What really lent credence to this was the fact that soon after this was sent, Bill voted against Windyman. Then strangely, Infernal did also.
Let's not forget, Windy was just shown to be a townie. So, we were not part of some Mafia. All I can ask is that everyone uses this information. Like Windy said. It benefits everyone whether it be rival mafia's, townies or special roles.

Plus, if you do vote me out. At least I'll have given out all the info I know and the mafia can't silence me.

VOTE BILL since that seems to be the mafia member they are after.
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.

Heh, do you suspect arrogance? Surely not? I think he meant that he's finally figured out what the roles are in terms of function not in regards to who is which role.

Wow, I really hope that this game hasn't been ruined by the dupe account person giving up his mafia mates.
