Mafia III: Day Four
« on: March 10, 2006, 03:38:00 AM »
Phoenix Wright refused to defend Stabby.  He considered it for a moment, then decided he'd rather go to the nudie bar instead.  He needed to take his mind off of things, and--who knows?--maybe Stabby wasn't innocent anyway.

Judge Wapner was well prepared to declare Stabby as not guilty, but since Phoenix refused to defend him, the trial never began.  And rules being rules, Stabby was taken to the local guillotine/arcade.  Stabby was offered a few last words:

"OMG! So KAWAII!"

With that, the townie's head was sliced off.  And not smoothly.  Despite the guillotine's sharp blade, it need to be retracted and brought down three times before Stabby's head finally came off.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regardless of the violent goings-ons of Rio de Setembro, Mario was enjoying his vacation immensely.  The women, the churrasca, the caipirinha, everything was just wonderful.  And, luckily for Mario, his short townie life was about to end on a high note.

KnowsNothing was so relieved that the court found him innocent, that he decided his next killing would be less Ninja and more Pirate.  As the bartender of the luxurious Muleca hotel, he was able to place a sedative in Mario's drink.  When Mario got up to head to his room, KnowsNothing intercepted him.  Grabbed him and in a bold and daring move, stole the Pirates' ship, and set sail into the Atlantic.

After a few hours, he woke up Mario.

"Huh, what?  Where am I?"

"Yer about ter walk tha plank, matey!"

Still inebriated, Mario responded, "Okay, cool.  Sounds good."

KnowsNothing proceeded to tie Mario's hands behind his back and blindfolded him.

"Walk yer paces."

"Ok."

With a plop, Mario fell into the sea.  The cool water quickly took him out of his inebriated state.  When he bouyed back up, he yelled out, "Wait, where am I?  What's happening to me?"

And as if in response, a shark quickly grabbed his body and brought him under to snack on.

"That was a good kill, KN, one fer them books,"  came a voice behind KN.

KN turned quickly with his katana drawn, but the mysterious Pirate behind him was prepared and parried KN's lunge.  With that, their sword battle began.

"You were stupid not to check the cabin KN.  Now you have ter die.  Alas, if I weren't a Pirate, I would be a hero."

"You can't kill me!  I'm the only Ninja-Pirate in the land.  I'm invincible!"

"You're a diluted mess, KN.  You've fergotten what 'tis to be a pirate."

KN had never been caught by surprise, his years of training were failing him.  The Pirate quickly gained the upper hand in the battle and KN began to feel fear and his own impending mortality.

"Never betray yer brothers, KnowsNothing."  With that, the pirate brought his sword around his right which KN easily blocked, but then the pirate ducked down, and swept KN's legs.  As KN toppled, the Pirate swung at KN's wrist, forcing him to drop his katana.

The pirate then fiercely brought down his saber, and KnowsNothing's reign of terror was ended.

Wow, I was way off on who the serial killer was. But this whole town is getting to be a mess. I think I'm going to lock myself in my hotel room and keep my trap shut. The only thing that can get me in this room is the cockroaches!

UncleBob is playing dumb. He only took his vote away from ShyGuy when he knew the odds could be tipped in some way (what's been going on behind the scenes here?). Also note he was quick to highlight the extra Stabby vote, which means everything was planned in his head.

First, Mario is right - I did take my vote away from ShyGuy - if anyone looks through the old Mafia threads, you'll see that I have probably never voted for anyone who was killed by vote.  Quite simply, I don't want the innocents deaths to be on my hands.

Second, yes, I was quick to highlight the 'extra' vote (and by extra, I mean the first vote for stabby in the thread) for stabs.  Again, if you look in the last thread, my main concern was making sure the game was played straight up and fair - and Pryo can attest to that fact when I reported multiple people who were dead and messaged me.  I don't care if the 'extra' vote is going to get me killed - I just want the game to be played fair.

Finally, regardless if ShyGuy and I are pirates, ninjas or homosexual lovers, seriously, do you think I could have planned every one of those vote changes - including the one that was changed by influence of the town whore?  Seriously, I can hardly keep track of the voting that's going on - let alone pull puppet strings to make such a variety of people (Bloodworth, Dasmos, TYP, Stevie and the Town Whore) to either vote for someone who I haven't even voted for myself (in this case, stabby) or to change their vote from someone who I've voted for before and had, at some point, voted for yesterday.

With that said, I'm off to work and here hoping I get home in time to make some kind of vote tonight.  Although I still have no idea who to vote for.  All, heck.  VOTE KIRBY

I put up a players list finally.  When you vote, you may vote for anyone on that list who is not in the DEAD column.

I have to go see a play (LOL CLASSY) this evening so I can't hang around until the vote deadline to see how this all pans out, but I think it's pretty obvious who the bad guys are by the results of the last vote. The GOOD GUYS voted for shyguy, and the BAD GUYS voted for stabs (who turned out to be innocent lol). If the townies are going to turn the tide, they need to, uhhhhhh, quit killing themselves over no logical reason (like they have been doing) and uh, you know, use logic. Therefore, Shyguy and his cronies were almost certainly all voting STABS instead of for their own in that close vote battle. I'm issuing a bandwagon on shyguy, and with that I am going to go enjoy my play.

Also, shyguy posted this on day 2 while trying way too hard to look innocent

I voted for Stabbalot before the whole ShyGuy debacle, you have to admit it did seem suspicious Stabby voting for stevey without any real reason. His excuse was "it's better to accuse someone than accuse no-one". What sort of logic is that?
