How about doing chores for her and making her a special dinner. And just be like whateves I didn't do it because I love you.
Then finding out what her love language is. What you can do that makes her feel loved, and expressing your love towards her in that way...even if it is hard.

I was engaged once, it was not at all fun. My advice stay single as long as you can and get married when you have no options left. Unless you are already married in that case well good luck, you gonna need it.
