Barring some last minute plans coming up, I can still play on Saturday evening. I'll update my list of games and highlight my preferences (though I'm still cool with playing anything on this list:

Wii U

Splatoon
Smash 4
Mario Kart 8

Looking at the list of the four people who can/might be able to play this evening, all four have got Splatoon there, so would everyone be cool with that? It would give us enough people for a full squad and it would be relatively easy to get into. If there's gonna be multiple games, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Tri Force Heroes, and Smash 4 show up on at least three lists as well.

I won't be home until the evening, so don't make the decision based on me. Splatoon does sound like a game we can all get behind, but I might have to fight my wife for the TV or just go handheld.

It would be pretty neat if we could get a 4-squad going in Splatoon, those are always fun!

Since Tri Force Heroes is just three players, it would be a good thing to play as we wait for a fourth, or after a fourth person leaves.

Since these games don't really have communication in them, should we use NWR's chat? Anyone able to use it during play?

I'm thinking it'd be good to wait a weekend or so. Get a good amount of people involved.

We didn't as we were wanting to get better organized and have more people. Plus I was depressed that night, so I wasn't up for gaming.

Phil, ma man, depression is a powerful mistress. If ever I can help through PM or something, please reach out. The reality is, I don't check much on weekends but the invitation stands. You never know what could help.

Anyhow, would love to set up a big time NWR forum event for a game night-- just don't know how to get attention to it.

Most people are really busy this time of year, I would love too, but getting the word out is a problem, that's why I like steam you can invite people and set up chats same as Skype and you get notified of convo's going on.
