Something even more interesting about Ultra Street Fighter 2 - it's a port of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix for Xbox 360/PS3 from over 8 years ago, and costs $40 instead of $15 (on Xbox Live Arcade/PSN).

It's actually not a port. It has two graphical-style modes (retro and HD), a new grapple-break mechanic, and two new playable characters.

Hmmm, I thought the XBLA/PSN version had the option to change graphic styles. But, it's still a port. Sure it has a few new things, but are those new things worth an additional $25?

I thought I recalled that too, but Capcom's comments indicated this was some new feature to the game -- maybe it was in reference to the SNES. Either way, I already own it on Xbox LIVE and it's like $3 on PSN right now. There's no way I'd give $40 for it.

Expect it to be a budget title within 6 months. ;)

The Wikipedia page says, "It is a remake of Super Street Fighter II Turbo. . .featuring the original game and a high definition version. . .".

Edit:  Are there no new tracks in MK8 Deluxe? That game also looks to be full priced.

I really want to know if people who bought the DLC (or the game digitally, but we need to prove ownership somehow) will get a deal on the digital version.

Kinda hoping for that.  I'd pay for the DLC of the battle mode and inklings, but $60 is too much for a game I already own with a very modest increase in content.

Nintendo could care less. Do you think they're going to give you a deal on Breath of the Wild for Switch if you bought it from the Wii U eShop? Activision and EA have away (maybe it was $10...Don't remember) upgrades to the Xbone and PS4 versions of Call of Duty Ghosts and Battlefield 4 if you bought the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions...Nintendo knows people will pay for the same game twice.

If Nintendo could care less, though, why don't they...?

Makes me wonder if MK Battle Mode was originally planned as DLC on Wii U and Nintendo decided to hold it for a Switch edition instead.

Been a while since I played World of Goo. I'll be keeping an eye on this to see if they add any new content. I really like the tone and art style of their games.

Yes, they had a battle mode ready three years ago and decided to gimp their own game and get a criticism and lost sales for it.

More over, when they where doing DLC tracks for the game they kept putting aside ready Battle mode tracks and instead put even more effort into creating other tracks.

Soren, get off your ass and update.

Add Lego Worlds to the list of Switch games.

Also add World of Goo, Little Inferno, and Human Resource Machine.

These are all confirmed.

What I meant was it was planned as DLC after the track packs but it was so late in the life cycle for the system (or was taking so much work to implement) they may have decided to save it. In no way am I suggesting that they had it complete and just sat on it.

As if that matters, I guess.
