I still say, since nobody has used their safe guess yet it should either be eliminated or turned into a pass without guessing a word to go to the next player.

Then the next player has to choose to use a pass or not. Yes, I know an active player has picked the bomb word, you can make a rule that if it is your bomb word you can not pass or just let them anyway...anyway, the worst that will happen is everyone uses their pass and then the original pass player dies. Otherwise people can pass the bomb word and we have to do an entire round over again...which takes days.

Indeed, it won't keep you safe, but I admire your loyalty. Too bad the feeling isn't mutual, but hey, at least one of you is smiling.

There are surprisingly no good pictures out there of Torpedo Ted. Or maybe it isn't surprising. I can't really think of a story to go with this image, so I guess you'll have to use your imagination.

Changing rules mid-game is a bad idea. It seems most people don't care about this extra stuff, which is what I suspected. Or maybe their strategy is to try and save it for the end game, and if it is then changing the rules would really screw them.

I'm not sure why the game has been going slowly, I s'pose the way the turn order ended up just doesn't match up people's schedules to be able to choose one after the other.

I saw the free pass as a way to ensure I wouldn't suffer an automatic elimination and decided I wasn't going to use it on a guess unless it was a final two or three type situation. Could be the same way others are thinking on it as well.
