Wii Virtual Console Loses Two More Games in Japan
« on: May 23, 2012, 12:43:02 PM »

Two MSX titles bite the dust.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/30244

Two MSX titles, Aleste and Eggy, were removed from the Wii Virtual Console service in Japan today. Aleste is a shoot-‘em-up-style title originally released on the MSX in 1988. Eggy, a side-scrolling shooter, was originally released in 1985.

Many titles are being removed from Nintendo’s Wii Virtual Console service, not only in Japan, but globally as well. For example, last fall and earlier this year, Sega pulled several titles from the Virtual Console.

MSX titles are available only in Japan, which is probably why you didn't know.
