The Wii U continues to get a lot of love and the 3DS isn’t far behind.http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/feature/38842/armillo-nobunagas-ambition-super-mario-kun-plus-more-arrive-on-the-eshop-in-japanA hodgepodge of releases are spread across the eShops this week with tons of genres represented on both Nintendo platforms. While the Wii U is getting more notable titles this week in Japan, there are still some cool releases on the 3DS this week. The Super Mario-kun manga, delivered via the Dokopon Choice series, sees its third release this week. For those out of the loop, Super Mario-kun is a manga series that features Mario and many characters from the Mario universe. It’s not exactly canonical (is anyone honestly keeping track?), but it has different settings from tons of different Mario related games ranging from Super Mario World, Luigi’s Mansion, Super Mario 3D World, and more. It's primarily aimed at kids and has unfortunately never seen a release outside of Japan. The first issue was published in the early ‘90s and the series still sees new releases to this day. Changing gears to the Wii U side of things, a few big name Western titles have finally made their way to the eShop in Japan - Armillo and Art of Balance. The Virtual Console is still pumping out titles this week bringing gamers in Japan Gomoku Narabe Renju (a Nintendo published version of the Japanese game Go), Nobunaga’s Ambition, and Final Fight 3. I heard that Europe is getting the final games of the Donkey Kong Country and Land Trilogies tomorrow.
I really hope those of us in the US get those soon. I was in college (no video game budget) when the Country Trilogy was available on Wii VC. When I graduated and finally got enough money to buy those 3 games I couldn't find them. I looked online and I'd missed it by a month and never could figure out why they took them down.
I'd love to buy all 6. I bought a SNES and DKC a few months ago, but the battery is dead so I can't save and it's causing an error so it freezes up within the first 6 minutes so I'm never able to get very far.
I loved these games as a kid and I really want my kids to be able to experience them

It was terrible that Nintendo never said when they were going to take the games down when they did.  I had downloaded DKC1/2 and planned on eventually getting DKC3 but then boom, they just took it down without warning.  That's why everyone who wants these games, needs to download them as soon as possible because I wouldn't be surprised if these are going to be some limited time deal again as well.

Your statement assumes we're actually going to get them...i how so, but I'm not so sure. I do ask for them and N64 games every time I fill out a VC club Nintendo survey though
