The next iteration of the popular PC action RPG series will be available on Nintendo's handheld in September. http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=16486 Last week XIDER Games announced their intentions to release the next Ankh title, Curse of the Scarab King, on the DS. The game will focus on the young Assil, an adventurer trying to save himself from a Mummy's deadly curse while traveling through ancient Egypt.
Players will be able to enjoy the game's humor and action RPG gameplay through use of the DS touch screen and stylus. Over the course of the adventure players will encounter a variety of characters including the Pharaoh, the Pharaoh's beautiful daughter Thara, a gossiping Mummy called George, and a practical joker named Thor. Players will also need to watch out for a troublemaker named Seth and Osiris, God of the Underworld.

XIDER Games is to release Ankh: Curse of the Scarab King on Nintendo DS. Ever the party animal, Assil's wild ways lead him to break into a pyramid to enjoy an all night party with his friends. However, on disturbing a peaceful, sleeping Mummy he was immediately punished with a lethal curse. Enjoy classic gameplay using the stylus to help Assil discover the remedy and break the curse within 24 hours to avoid his fate.

Ankh: Curse of the Scarab King features many colourful and humorous characters, including the lovable delinquent Assil; the Pharaoh, who would rather party than govern; his beautiful daughter Thara; the gossip loving Mummy, George; and Thor, the practical joker. Not all the characters are good natured though; beware of Seth, who enjoys a good ruckus, and Osiris, God of the Underworld.
