Windows 11/10 best operating system - The Windows Thread

So my mom got a new laptop so I took her old one as a bit of a project. My PS3's old SSD and 8gb of ram later it's a shockingly solid machine for what will soon be a 10 year old laptop so I kind of accidentally upgraded for dirt cheap. I was looking at getting a gaming laptop but this thing meets the minimum requirements for a decent number of games so it will keep me content long enough for next gen to roll around.

And now that next gen has come around and I have the money I'm off to an actual laptop. It cannot be overstated how nice it is to have a laptop that can match that responsive feeling you can get from a Smartphone.

I'm on a GTX 3060 with an RTX 5800 and 16 gigs of RAM on a beautiful 16:10 screen.



Also Windows 11 is nice.

I love Windows 11 for all the new features and convenience, but I don't understand why they haven't upgraded old windows from version 7 or earlier. There are also some minor system lags on my laptop, which is frustrating. And so I congratulate you on the purchase of a new laptop.
