There's a distinct lack of Captain Olimar on that list. I'd buy one of him without even caring about the gameplay possibilities.

I'm with Evan B Shulk Shulk Shulk Shulk.
I still can't believe they haven't done another printing of Xenoblade in an attempt to expose more people to the franchise before the release the sequel. If they gave out a free copy (costing them 20 cents to print the disc) with Smash Bros tons of people would try it out, fall in love with it, and then buy Xenoblade X next year.

Fairly disappointed in everything I've seen/heard from Amiibo so far - both in how they are being supported in games, and how the production models dropped in quality from prototypes. Even going in with low expectations doesn't prevent this from looking like a blatant money grab instead of a well designed game peripheral.  But those misgivings won't prevent me from buying Shulk if the final model looks even half decent.

(For what it's worth, I'm also pretty hard on Disney Infinity which seems to care more about selling figures than providing a compelling game experience. But even that system puts Amiibo usage to shame.)

Xenoblade Chronicles on 3DS?

Yes Japan is getting it on 3DS, but I haven't heard for sure about us and all we know IF Xenoblade and New 3DS come here it could be AFTER X when BEFORE is what makes the most sense.

X is not due out until late 2015 at best. Considering New 3DS releases first half of next year and Xenoblade 3DS is a companion for the system I expect it to beat X out the door.
