http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/blogArt.cfm?artid=18513 My second workout was better organized than the first; it had me switching controller setups less often and generally flowed better. It was also noticeably more intense, resulting in 180 calories burned in the same length of time (20-25 minutes). This one had me doing forward and reverse lunges, bicep curls and arm extensions, forehand and backhand tennis swings, and more intense running sessions with high knee and kick-up strides. I tried switching from the male trainer to the female one, but she's equally insipid, and I'll probably turn off trainer feedback (a.k.a. voice samples during workouts) completely once I've sampled most of the activities.
My other activities today have also been quite physical. I spent two hours hand-washing a big pile of dishes, because I don't have an automatic dishwasher. I've also taken a couple of bike rides totaling over an hour. So, I expect another good weight loss tomorrow, though probably not as big as the one Wii Fit detected today.
Tomorrow is slated as a rest day, according to Active's 30-day plan, but I'm going to try exercising anyway due to the compressed schedule leading up to E3. Besides, this isn't exactly weight-lifting, where your muscles are severely torn up and need a couple of days to regenerate.
Cumulative Weight Loss: 2.4 lbs
Note: I'm aware that this is an extreme amount of weight loss for one day. Part of it is probably due to normal weight shifts that happen from day to day, and I don't expect to continue dropping pounds at this rate. It could even go upwards a bit despite my best efforts. The important thing is to watch the overall trend.
