And a new trailer goes with it - wait, wasn't this supposed to be September?

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is coming in sooner than first thought.

Originally announced for "September" in the last general Nintendo Direct, the RPG sequel will now launch worldwide on July 29. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer (embedded below).

With the earlier launch, it will now launch one week after the remake of Live a Live.

A limited edition containing an artbook and steelbook case will be sold from the North American My Nintendo store as well: details will be announced separately for that.

The Limited Edition only being available from Nintendo's store is fucking bullshit. If we thought Nintendo of America LEs were impossible to buy before, we ain't seen nothin' yet.  >:(

does this mean splatoon 3 is not being released in July? I watch videos saying it was delayed because of this game.

The only remaining games I have left for my Nintendo Switch are Mario Strikers Battle League Splatoon 3 Gundam Battle Alliance

Hmmmm. So the forum software can still embed YouTube videos in a Talkback OP. How do we get that to work again in non-Talkback OP posts...?

Part of the answer is to use older internet browsers. A few weeks back, I used Safari on an older iPad that Apple doesn't really support or upgrade their IOS on to check in on the forums and was surprised to see the YouTube embeds working and videos showing up in posts. Turns out they haven't been broken after all. It's just part of big tech's scam to always get you upgrading to new products.  :P

This is the scarf fiasco all over again.

I do wonder what the consequential schedule adjustment will look like for the fall. This puts some pressure on the Summer Nintendo Direct.
