What the hell, Shyguy? I disappear for two years (again) and the first thing I see is an invitation to the funhouse?

I'd rather have a space blanket.

I've been using mine for my DSi XL.

I tried using it as a dice bag, but it is poorly suited to this purpose.

At any rate, I can't wait to trade up to the 3DS next week.

Has anybody got the Mother 3 translation patch yet?

I got it yesterday morning, and took it to work with me on my PSP, in a bold bid for job suicide.

But my boss took the day off, so its cool.

I just started the second chapter, in Oshoe castle at the moment.  I seriously can't get enough of this game.

I went to see the Hulk friday night, went to a rad party Saturday night and met this really cute chick, tried absinthe for the first time, and then went to watch Spamalot.

Then, I finally found a copy of Terminator 2 on DVD, and watched the directors commentary Sunday morning.

It was a pretty fucking rad weekend.

Are you admitting to something, Shyguy?

Do you have something of note to add to this conversation?  Something you aren't telling us?

HRM?!

No, see, I need the silhouettes of their robot characters.  It's a deep-rooted psychological condition to require talking robot puppets to deliver commentary on ****ty movies, I guess.

Your loss, then.

Because http://www.rifftrax.com is THE place for MST3K fans to go.  Mike, Kevin, Bill, and a myriad of celebrities and old MST3K alumni appear and riff both movies and television shows.  Old and new, good and bad, no movie or actor is safe.

Remember, at Rifftrax, they don't make movies, they make them funny!

I would watch Rifftrax if it was in fact, MST3K.  For some reason with out Crow or Tom I have no interest.

On most rifftrax now, both Bill Corbett (Crow) and Kevin Murphy (Tom) do the riffing along side Mike.

Ubisoft reuse engines a lot, Prince of Persia for example ran off the Jade engine, which was named the Jade engine because it was developed for Beyond Good and Evil. This teaser, if it's real time which is possible, is probably running off the Scimitar engine, first used in Assassin's Creed. This is why it probably looks a little blah and bland.

Of course it could also have something to do with the fact that Hillys has completely dried up and is no longer the lush planet it was. Game about saving the environment? Awesome.

Then it wouldn't be so much about SAVING the environment as learning how to live with the consequences (which, honestly, is what we should start doing right now).

Anyways, theres no reason why it couldn't be Hyllis, sans environmental disaster.  We're a water planet, but the middle of Arizona is a helluva lot different than Venice, for example.

I just found an old quote of Ancel that I had saved 'cause I liked it:

"The number of polygons does not make you laugh or cry."

I guess he changed his mind.

Maybe he hasn't changed his mind. Maybe he's discovered that the number of polygons helps hardcore gamers fap. Maybe that's where they hope to make their sales.

Could be.  The first game got released in the shadow of Prince of Persia, and I'm sure the cartoony atmosphere turned alot of insecure gamers off.  Ancel may have been trying very hard to get Ubisoft to greenlight it by making it more appealing to a mass market.  He wants to get his baby made, and at any cost.

And it seems to have worked!

holy baby jesus, this is the best news I've read in a while.  I think I literally did a double take.

Is there any way we can pressure Ubisoft into saying yes?  Whom do I have to perform sexual favors on/torture/bribe to get this game made?

Just got my Xbox a few days ago, and will probably start systematically adding people at random.

Go ahead and add me, too.  I 'm cool like that.

(Nevermind the Hexic.  Thats the only game my girlfriend will play.)

So, now we finally have GH on a Nintendo system, what are the chances they will port the first two over to the Wii?

Wait...so will it be an entirely new franchise, or just porting Disgaea 1 like they did to the PSP, albeit with an entirely new story added on, but still...

I think I'm gonna go ahead and the PSP version anyways, but I would ecstatic if they released an entirely new game for a Nintendo system, DS or Wii.

Has there been any discussion as to WHY NOE pulled this and Sin and Punishment? Limited time only for an electronic delivery service seems kind of bass-ackwards to me.

Nah...Nintendo is good at keeping secrets.

Well, good at making other people keep them, anyways.

Also, frothing, demand, etc.
