I would say good for Capcom hitting number one, but they never learn the right lessons from their successes. (or their failures)
Dragon Ball Fighter Z plus Xenoverse, and a number of Evergreen titles, including the Switch top 3 cluster.

Were the sales of Xenoverse, which released in 2015 the result of Grandma picking up the wrong game for little Jimmy?

Apparently they're bringing back the Splatoon 2 Switch bundle in Japan this week, with extra stuff similar to the Splatoon 2 Starter Edition in North America, so Switch will almost certainly break out from the 40-50,000 range it's been in for the last little while with next Wednesday's numbers (although maybe the Nintendo Direct and Smash Bros. hype will help it do that in tomorrow's numbers already).

Kirby is huge in the Japanese market. Back on the DS, both Squeak Squad and Super Star Ultra managed over a million each in Japan alone. Then there's Return to Dreamland and Triple Deluxe which managed over 700k in Japan each and even Planet Robobot managed over 500k there.

Considering how popular the Switch is right now and this Kirby is released early in the systems lifespan, I'd say it's guaranteed to at least end up around Return to Dreamland and Triple Deluxe range with the potential to maybe hit the million mark as well.
